Hmmm... possibly... It might be a lot more technically difficult than these icons. I could maybe develop a single icon for all crossbow types to use, either by disabling the instance naming rules (would mean the crossbow name would no longer change as you apply mods to it) or maybe if lucky by tweaking them like with the binoculars. An icon for bolts should be possible too.
I'm guessing it's a pretty stable mod given the last release was over 7 years ago?
Does the plugin require all of it at once, instead of going "If this plugin is active, then this part of the plugin is active"? Noticed the patches now.
The optional packages aren't 'patches' per se - use them instead of the full package. I think I need to edit the description/instructions to make that clear.
It should be possible for me to create a FOMOD installer so it asks which bits you want to install. I learned most of what I needed for the existing packages before getting eye surgery. Unfortunately, the recovery is not going well at all, and learning to make an installer is going to need a lot of reading. Finalising the existing packages has been right at the limit of my pain tolerance - reading about FOMODs is going to have to wait until the pain subsides and my vision improves from legally blind to at least very poor. For reference, I'm typing this with my eyes closed most of the teim - thank heavens for touch typing!
Try the new optional file - Extra icons for FIS - Prewar Binoculars only. I've removed the requirement for SS2 esm files from the plugin, it doesn't look like Nexus will let me specify different requirements so you might still see SS2 listed on the download popup but the PWB version of the plugin doesn't actually require them.
Eventually I'd like to work out how to use a FOMOD installer so people can choose but this should work for now - please let me know if you encounter any problems!

EDIT: Nevermind, wrong crossbow mod.
