I found the house on the roof in Fens by exploring a door that was in the underground area where the mole rats are under the Red Rocket in Concord. It was labeled Fens Hideout, if I recall. It goes into a room with numerous doors that lead to different areas of the commonwealth and even Nuka World. I've only explored two areas so far. The house is located directly between Hangman's Alley and where the Diamond City guards fight the mutants. It's cool except for one problem. The building is coming up through the house...part of the roof is completely blocking the hallway and I had to tcl through it to explore. If you don't go through the doors from the hideout, you can reach the house by going up the stairs from where the mutants fight and jumping up to the roof. A jetpack helps, or a 2x increase in player jump height, or tcl.
