Pretty much the only mod on nexus that makes acceleration curve feel decent, thank you. I'm quite surprised it was even possible with this s#*! engine of theirs. Well done.
Before this mod, looking up was twice as fast as looking left, right. Also, moving the pad 1mm to any direction is enough to make you spin like a helicopter. After this mod, looking up/down, left/right is normal and how it should have been since forever. Downloaded and will endorse as soon as possible.
I really cant tell anything to this. Last time i tried using Steam Function it was sucking hard and that like 6 years ago. I do prefer myself native implementation rather then workaround and third party if possible. If you are happy with your controller then there is no point in using it. All what this tweak is doing is normalizing things like you would except from a First Person Shooter Game.
Appreciate you brining your knowledge from New Vegas and sharing it here. I had tried several different player movement mods, but most of them are made to favor keyboard and mouse. Simple, but bloody effective mod & tweaks.
The Problem are that most mods increasing the issues with the Y Axis for controller if you look around. If you used RAW before it makes the issues even worst Y Axis becomes almost as double fast then X Axis.
By janky do you mean how the pc will be moving along but then will just stop and stand there for like, no reason at all??? Happens when turning especially??? Bc if this mod fixes that you will be my hero!! Worth a DL just to see if that's what it does!
Its hard to tell. So far it seems to have fixed it. Although I thought it was more of a left thumbstick issue, but it could have been a byproduct of the right.
I'm not sure how exactly to describe what I mean. It's one of those annoyances that seems to happen at random without a way to really reproduce on command.
But I was sprinting figure 8s really tightly, along with arming and disarming my weapons, and also going in and out of vats, all with no interruption at all. So I think so???? Only time will tell I guess.
I will keep you all posted if what I'm talking about happens anymore. At any rate, it seems to be happening alot less so far.
edit: update- No. No that bug is still there 4 me. This did not fix it like I thought it did at first. My character still gets stuck and for about 2-3 minutes like a deer in headlights..
Good try though man. Don't wanna knock other ppls work unless its REALLY REALLY bad. I know helping my specific thing was not what you set out to do.
i have that bug also, its pretty rare like once an hour, and quickly fixes itself by moving the other direction, but yeah pretty annoying :-) will try out ur mod, but it likely will need some f4se trickery to fix? dunno
