There are currently difficulties with the floating crib. Please be patient as the versions are fully functional despite the problem.
I am trying everything to solve the problem, because it bothers me a lot that the object is not where it should be (Creation Kit).
At the moment I only know these solutions:
    Crib
    1. there is a solution to get rid of the floating cot that works without additional mods. In build mode, the floating crib can simply be removed.
    2. it is also possible to remove objects in the console window with "disable" or "markfordelete".
    3. you can move the crib to where you want it if you want it in your settlement.

I would like to point out again that it is an earlier version and that it is not a finished version. Tips and advice are always welcome.
    Thank you very much

Also Codsworth is broken on a new game start, either disabled or bugged, breaking main quest from starting

I had the problem with Codsworth missing. I used console commands for the minuteman quests. It was actually kind of nice not having to report to Preston every 5 minutes. LOL I have most of my settlements attained. I'm just not the general. Oh well. LOL

Maybe one of the objects is linked to Codsworth. You might need to restore that object or reduce its scale to 0.1. This can help, as I had a similar problem with my adopted children in Skyrim

Would it be possible to change the settlement outline (the green wall around the area that shows where you can build) to better fit the new area??

In my game theres a part of the new sanctuary that has nothing built there simply because I can't lol. If anyone knows a work around lmk please

Also there's a floating desk near the water tower that I can't remove, even with console commands.

There's another mod called Build Higher that extends the build area of most of the settlements in the base game and DLC. Should do what you need/want.

So far this is my favourite sanctuary mod, all the other ones are great but required a lot of work in creation kit for me to get them the way I really wanted, this one is practically an install-and-play for me. Great job!

So! I've got both some corrections(As well as a question), as well as compliments. Also, I've found a workaround that can help until things get updated. I'm not trying to come across as harsh, so if I sound that way, sorry. I get that this is a WIP and an early version, I'm saying all this as someone who's really looking forwards to this getting updated. Also, sorry about the long-winded comment, trying to be descriptive as well as having that bit of help I mentioned.

Firstly, the compliments. The large area, as well as having a sort of difference in 'districts' is wonderful. Makes it feel pretty good, and makes building much, much easier. As well, the bridge being flat allows for building on the edge without having any collision issues.
To top that off, having the various smaller touches like the water tower by the rails(Which are also a nice touch), power armor section, and a few other things here and there flesh things out pretty well.

Now, to the questions and a correction. With this mod installed, there's the Lynn woods tower way off to the side from the bridge and outside the build-zone. Is that there intentionally, or was it a mistake? Also, there's a bunch of uranium chunks just past the eastern wall, and obviously, same question at the end of the last bit. As for the corrections, I've noticed that specifically both Codsworth and Preston's quests are broken, at least at certain stages.

I have a temporary workaround that would be helpful for people to get Codsworth and Preston without any issues. Firstly, make sure to have this mod off at first when loading the game, even with quick startup. Then, once you're out of the vault, progress through concord without having interacted with Codsworth. Get the intro to When Freedom Calls done by killing the raiders, then head back to sanctuary.

Heading back to sanctuary will allow you to nab Codsworth, as it skips his quest. For now, chuck him to red rocket, unless you want to keep him with you. After that, head back to Concord and finish up the quest until the 'Meet Preston in Sanctuary' stage triggers. After that, wait for them to head outside, and follow. Now they'll all be pathing to Sanctuary, and you can quickly close the game, re-enable the mod, and voila, works fine from there. Though Preston's pathing by the statue is a bit buggy, but I think that's just base-game jank, as I've seen that without this mod on.

Anyway, hopefully the workaround helps other people out, and hope to see updates whenever you have the time to do some patching and updates. Thanks for the mod in the meanwhile.

I just want to take a moment to bring your attention to a known crack in the terrain that's in the vanilla game at the end of the bridge below the pair of corpses found when leaving Sanctuary. I've had to fix it via the landscape tools for my mod, but it doesn't hurt spreading the word on it.

Mod does disable precombines in the general area and generating a patch against it is not worth it right now, due to the developmental nature of the mod currently.

Thank you for your feedback. I will take this into account in the next update.

I'm having trouble understanding what exactly you mean by the crack in the terrain.

It's kind of hard to see without specifically looking for it. It's just a physical crack that you can see through, there's a few more in the game that I've had to fix, but that's the only one that's in the area you are editing.

In my local copy, roughly -76345, 82153, 7500 (Cell -19, 20 also known as DD80) is where the crack is.

I really like what you have done so far but when I installed the mod I had a floating workbench that was so high i could not reach it and a floating crib lol I dunno if it was supposed to be like that. if the workbench would have been assessable for me I had intended on building there because honestly it is perfect for my game setup. I am gong to track this for future updates!

Haven’t used this mod yet but planning to. Did you do this on a new save? I would recommend having a move workshop mod as well as SKK’s workshop anywhere mod this will let you go into workshop mode and quickly build some stairs to access the workshop and move it.

Greetings. Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing problems. I am aware of the difficulties with the workbench and crib and am working to resolve them.

It is not actually intended for the crib or workbench to float as this is not the case in the Creation Kit either. I intend to do some testing and hope to find a solution before releasing the next version.

If you cannot reach the workbench because it is too high to activate it for the first time. You can do the following.
You can unlock the console by pressing the tilde key (~)
Type tcl and confirm with Enter, close the window and walk to the workbench and activate the workbench.
Then open the console and type tcl and close the window again and the problem is gone.

Alternatively, for now, you can use the mod listed above until I have fixed the problem.
Best regards and have a nice day.

Great mod I love the new layout! Thanks for your work. The one issue I'm having is in the area on the tracks right where the train engine is there is a floating mound of dirt with a fallen log and several dead trees that I'm unable to interact with/scrap. Anyone else having this issue?

      Greetings.

First of all, I am delighted that you are enjoying my mod. It gives me great pleasure to hear that you like it. Unfortunately, I am not sure how to fix the bugs you have encountered.
I have tested several of my savegames and have not found such a problem.
Perhaps it is another mod that is causing this problem. Maybe a landscape mod. But I can't say for sure.

The only thing I can think of right now is to give the console commands "disable" or
"markfordelete" to delete the objects in the game separately.
There are also Ytube videos on how exactly this works.
I hope I was able to help a little. Have a nice day.

What does "significantly enlarged" mean exactly? Why do you need to wait to install it?

I would assume that most of the island that Sanctuary sits on is now within the build area. The reason as to why you need to wait to install it is so you don't break Codsworth. Finishing his little quest to search the neighborhood needs to be completed first and its best to outside the settlement before installing. This is a common process for any massive overhaul of Sanctuary that completely changes the settlement layout.

      Hello
      to your first question,
" Significantly enlarged" means that everything within the stone wall and a little beyond can be built on.
Originally, I had planned to build on the entire island. However, I later decided that this would be too extensive.

CrimsonLegion94 has answered the second question very well.

Alternatively you can install it on a New game start. But also have SKK’s fast minutemen mod. This skips codsworths quest and the first couple minutemen quests so that they are already in sanctuary and you are the general.
