Most of the things should work, but some (especially the perks for scaling on npcs) are outdated now. i am currently updating most patches and change those values. it is quite exhausting checking these records, since there are lots... Also, ingestibles may have the wrong/ old effects.
i think about starting a new mod-page for the updated patches, but i would then put any patch i made on that one page.
generally, without having checcked everything, i roughly assume that any patch containing mostly human npcs, clothes or items should almost work the same as in 1.93. also, i was not able to check every patch too deep on 1.93, so there may still be little "glitches" if i do update.
since "outdated" values probably still work, there shouldnt be major f*ckups, if the patch was working before 1.94
if you are unsure about a patch, check it in xedit.
Hey... i have now spent a lot time to use the opportunity / template quest to add items to some LLs. to me it feels like really hard, to check if something really works out. i wonder if it would be better, to just edit the LLs manually, even if you have to check/ merge them all, if you use lot mods. what are you thinking about that... prefer injections or just have that stuff seeable and manually----?
no, but you can just remove those from the esp and go without if you like that better. or wait, since i got all the mods installed, i can remove it quickly, but you might need 4est gimps edit.
You may want to add [#Note] Richard's Note, Welding Helmet, Metal Helmet and Army Helmet clean to the patch looks like you missed them or is there a reason you did not patch those?
Yes... Richards Note is from the base game and should be overwritten by horizon, i thought at least. the three helmets are in 4estgimpsedit and are also from the base game. i thought, if you load raider gangs extended & 4est gimps edit before horizon and just the patch after, it is not necessary to "forward" those helmets (?)
Wrong link to the Less Hostile Raider Children mod. You want this one, or at least your patch points to its esp: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/67837 I'm hoping the other mod works without a patch though - it's a nice touch having the kids mostly just run away.
i think you dont have to use a patch under any circumstances; although i made one (and use it), but its not very classy (but working afaik). if youre brave: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/76219 maybe someone else done a better one? if not, you may go without patch or use that one :P Good luck!
Author of Gangs of Lexington here; Thanks for taking the time to patch my mod for Horizon. I was wondering if you're alright with me linking it on GoL's description for those interested in using it?
hey, sure.... hope it more or less adequate since this patch merely contains item tags, some npc-edits and not much more, so it is not spophisticated and patches surroundings or such. you can of course do what you like, even if you think youre going to make a better one; just tell me to take this off :). thanks for gangs of lexington!
Okay, it seems that IRA Poisoning isnt working correctly, you get poisoned but i presume its effect were managed by a modified HC Manager from DA. So if someone feels like being able to add that effects/ scripts (maybe loosely)? to Horizons HC Manager, i would party for it. So you can just collect lots of IRA without dying ATM. Still, it makes Radiation Damage even more a pain in the ass due to treatment scarcity. :P
Damn Apocalypse and Horizon are too hard conflicting, i cannot solve issues, so i stop trying... anyway i was assured, thats pretty pointless for those 2 mods :P. Stopping anything in that direction.
