Does the Katana Blade modification increase the shishkebabs reach out of curiosity?

This is an amazing shishkebab overhaul and the inclusion of Gehenna only adds to that.

I wanted that to be the case, but don't know for sure. It would require testing to confirm if it does or not. That's why I mainly opted to have the Katana blade simply increase weapon damage and weight.

I think you should add a new property for one of the omods of interest.
Add it as "Float" with either MUL+ADD or MUL and choose iirc "Reach" .
0.8 is the default. If you want 1.0 use MUL+ADD and set it to 0.25

So, last I played I very much enjoyed the Two-Handed Shishkebab. Increased weight, damage, and the two-handed melee animations are just better IMO.

But, that mod is eight years old and is the second-to-last thing the mod maker made. Still works today, but that's mainly because very little of my load order affects melee weapons. Very little of anyone's load order affects melee weapons unless they specifically use melee weapons. I am looking to refresh my load order with some better variety to make my next playthrough special, and yours is the only shishkebab mod out there that's both recent and interesting.

Any chance of a two-handed version of the mod?

question, would it be possible to have vanilla weapons use the animations of this mod?
    https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/52479

like i know some people make mods that require other mods and wonder if that same thing could exist for the vanilla weapons?

i just hate the vanilla animations they are so damn jank and ugly in comparison lol.

Since i upgraded my normal sword to Gehenna with the katana blade, the hit sound (slash) doesnt play when it hit enemies with it, i play on the VR version. It used to work fine. any tips/advice?

This was a minor bug with my mod, the incendiary legendary effect was overwriting the Gehenna's sound files. Newest update should fix this issue.

Cool looking mod. A couple of questions if I may: 1. Is it available on Xbox/console? And 2. does it have blood effects? If yes to both questions then I will be very interested in downloading this mod to give it a whirl :-D I'm always interested in melee weapon mods for Fallout 4 especially since I'm a crap shot with a gun so I usually stick to melee weapons for the most part.

Hi, I really love your mod. Looks awesome!

I would like to integrate it in my Fallout 4 build, but I worked very hard on it for months and don't want to mess it up:

is your mod compatible / does it work with Eco Redux, Leveled Item Framework and Complex Sorter?

And: I assume it is script injected into Leveled List, or did you do hard edits? If the latter, please let me know.

And I would appreciate if you add fire damage 😁

Don't let people tell you that it would be overpowered. If you mod your game with the diverse creature mods and use e.g. PANPC, it becomes really hard.

I'd love to have a really strong melee weapon... I loved Fallout 3, played it the ninja style. I am missing a melee weapon strong enough to do so with all these (awesome) mods making it harder.

I'm unsure as to whether or not my mod will be compatible with those as I'm a very new mod maker, and I'm not familiar enough with those mods. However, I will say that my mod is mostly a replacer of the original Shiskebab. I didn't edit or change the leveled lists in any way. So the base form Shishkebab should be just as common in game as Vanilla. Also I designed this mod to be as compatible with a vanilla game as I knew how to make it. Many people may not play with mods that add damage resistances like you mentioned. So, if I added fire damage, the sword would simply be too OP for those players. However, the Gehenna still has the Incendiary legendary effect attached to it. So it can still do fire damage when the sword is fully upgraded. On that note, I may work on an update or patch in the future to give it fire damage for those who want it.

Thank you very much for your answer.

And personally, if you have time and want to, I'd appreciate an "overpowered" Version.
