Heya, really love this mod due to the variety it offers!

However there's a few things that keep me from using it, and I'd like to give some suggestions in the off chance that you'd like to update the mod someday":

    1. Having a choice to have children settlers or not, because most of them have muted dialogue, and let me tell you it's no fun when all the new settlers showing up at your settlements are children, makes me feel like I'm some kind of work camp superintendent or something :p
    2. Related to no 1, most of the children show up with the same few outfits, would be nice if you could somehow integrate the outfits from Orphans of the Commonwealth to here, so they can show up with those outfits too.

    :)

Please add more kids clothes. I've got 17 kids spread in three settlements all wearing the same blue striped shirt and pants they look like clones or synths.

Children settlers have rusty face when using this mod. AFAIK, I don't have any mods that edit or change / add children except this mod. anyone know what is up? I use Rusty Face Fix to fix the bug normally, but using the RFF command on them thru console does nothing.

Running the latest "Enhanced Simple Settlers 2", I'm getting waaaaay more than "10%" kids. More like 60%.

It is a 1-10 chance with based game mechanics.  You can test it using the following console command : player.placeatme 00020593 20

This will spawn 20 settlers and you should see the make up after a few spawns.  If there is still a problem, then there may be something else causing it.

Possibly caused by one of those mods that will allocate two settlers to any double bed...

I ran your test 5 times and got {7,1,5,1,2} kids, for an average of 16% with some serious variance. Obviously, "random" chance does not equal "average" over a short run, but I'd say the results fit within your expectations. Maybe I'm just getting crazy dice rolls.

The kids have mute dialogue at the moment (subtitles only. You may need to edit the dialogue to add an alternative one for them.

You could add a duplicate settler dialogue to them that removes their responses or adds new reused voice  lines. Adding a condition to make it only available to the kids.

Is it necessary to uninstall the previous Simple Settlers? When I do that and install this version my game keeps crashing. But when I install this and leave the old version installed all seems to work fine.

Is this for an existing game I assume?  I would certainly make a save prior to installing.  SS2, if loaded after SS1 should in theory overwrite the changes made by SS1 and would function just fine, but I can't guarantee that as I have not tested it.  Safest outcome would be just to start it with a new game.

Ok, thanks!  I will give it a try with the existing game a bit later then. (And no worries, I always make a backup save before installing a new mod.)
