Excellent mod. Looks cool, well-polished, and works just fine in every aspect. I've been playing with this gun in-game for hours. The shooting, reloading, and bashing animations function flawlessly in both 1st and 3rd person views, even when wearing power armor, which is rare among firearm mods. I would definitely like to use it as my primary weapon.
BTW, may I make a Chinese (Mandarin) translation for this excellent mod? I'll upload it to Nexus and credit you in the description tab if permitted.
I've done it already. Sadly no response, no permission so i think i'll just have to keep it for personal use. Anyway, translation nowadays isn't a big deal neither a difficult thing with the help of tools like xtranslator, DeepL, etc. but the credit/permission is.
You don't need permission to release a translation... It's just like making a patch for anything else, long as you don't include file assets you're fine.
range 263 is that the max or am i missing something obvious to increase it there is a sniper receiver mod option if you use mod explorer, but it isn't available at weapons workbench
The best anti-equipment module I've seen so far to support FTS, my only regret is that the barrel is too short, which is the way it is, but who doesn't like to be big and long? By the way, can anyone make NTW-20? I hope it will come out in my lifetime, if I do it myself and have to learn, it will take too long. By the way, thank you for your anti equipment, it is great
wish someone would make a visible weapon mod as apparels for this weapon. Because this weapon is too cool. But I play only with weapon mods that have visible weapon as apparels
I have the caliber complex and tactical reload patches installed and tried different versions of each but no matter what whenever I go to craft the rifle the ammo displays as zero and doesn't display an ammo type. I crafted 300 Norma Mag but still zero. No mods on the weapon would change it. Is there something I'm doing wrong or maybe it's a bug with the mod? 🤷♀️
I haven't looked in FO4edit, but I suspect that the ammo is unique to the mod (it has a FormID that is unique to the mod, just like the weapon). One way you could change this is to make Caliber Complex a master to this file and then make the desired ammo type from CC it's default. Alternatively, you could also make it fire .308 Win by default and then adjust the base damage to your liking.
According to Barrett's site, IRL this rifle can be configured to fire a large variety of calibers (notably, the popular 6.5 Creedmore, .308 Win, .300 Win Mag & .338 Lapua which are all found in CC), so it wouldn't be unreasonable to use any or all of those for the mod.
This gun absolutely f*#@ing awesome. The only thing holding it back is the firing sounds, both silenced and un-silenced, they simply don't do the weapon justice.
