I've been avoiding laser sights because of this issue. how do you accomplish this? Seems something to do with nif files. If its easy, perhaps some instructions for some that could do it for themselves like me.
Any ideas on how to exclude a single BSTrishape rather than a Billboard Node? I've tried to do it with my lasers, which use a simpler visual method, but I can only get it to exclude the entire .nif.
Yeah. I've tried a few different methods, but they either crash the game, or exclude the entire attachment. Main issue is that when I try to put the NiNode with the ignore name inside a container Ninode, Nifskope forces the name to change when it saves. Otherwise that should work, per the tutorial page.
--Orrr, nevermind, tried it again and it seems Nifskope is willing to let it be. Weird, but it works now.
