But also for better Off- to In-Game comparison, since the bloom effect ingame does not work well with the CK offgame and vice versa. Every modification done is based on default records. So don't thank me, thank Bethesda, at least for keeping it in the game files. I will never understand why they kept those records from applying to the world space, since it twists FO4 into a whole new dimension.
Notes: - Character light, till today i believe there is a setting to disable character light (cl off) without using console command (more below). None of the research across all BETH games showed there is one though, still i wouldnt be surprised if not...
As Nexusmods' "improvements" have slowed down the pages like FPS with the NeG on a potato, I am posting my update to and correction of my bug report here in hopes it'll actually publish. I just needed to turn Loot Detector off and on again.
Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to go onto the forums and rebut their self-congratulatory spiel about the Cryogenic Snail, er, site pages.
Using the Cell and weather plugin, loaded very last... Only other mods that mildly conflict is Clarity (loaded above ofc) it's a little improvement, but tbh I'm not so sure if it's anything than placebo :)
On top I throw in RenoDX HDR, and my game looks absolutely stellar !!
Just a few questions if you don't mind - I asume the PRP patch is only for people using the Previs/PRP mod, which I don't ? Edit: I see has it as master, so case closed.. The screenshot with the label - Toggle Light (6), whats that all about, can't see any further info, but looks great ?
Lastly another huge THANK YOU for making all these exiting and intelligent mods !
That the interior PRP changes will not load if ISP is loaded last but PRP will work perfectly fine since the biggest impact can be seen in exterior world space. this mod changes only interior world space.
for the life of me, I'm too stupid to figure out how to install and use this properly, I been screaming at the game for 10 minutes cause everything to blurry and bloom out
I'm finally 100% satisfied with my interiors, I use Imgs with Nac X, ELFX , and loaded this first.. Before it could also look nice when entering a room, but one step forward washed/greyed the whole screen !
Yw. A GEM would not be a GEM if its not hidden, i assume. ;) Although if you load this mod before ELFX most of the changes might be overriden by ELFX ...
This mod fixed about 95% of the atrocious Bloom rectangles that would appear in the Night Vision Imagespace for West-Tek Optics. Greatly reduces this eye-sore of a bug, so a big appreciation from my end (especially because I avoid using ENB for performance reasons). Keep up the top-notch work. Underrated, but fantastic additions to the game with your "Dark Commonwealth" add-ons.
This is serious. I have poked at the lighting records and the same ugly things crawled out like bad lighting templates and dramatic bloom radius settings. I suggest anyone interested in proper lighting give this a try. I am going to check out a bunch of Qrsr's lighting mods and see if I can learn some things too.
Yw, thanks! When i poked around lighting settings, for along time btw., it almost made me quit modding the DC mod im working back and still on. The vanilla lighting, bloom heavy s#*!, is so distracting it isnt fun anymore. I dont think it was meant to look that s#!77y in the first place. The only thing left from now on is the weather and climate records.
My only Visual and Graphics changers are Intensity and the visual effect of weed from Mary Jane. (The former is purely increased saturation and one notch down of brightness so colors are colorfully colored)
The sky is the limit. Watch the save game picture more closely, there is no bloom or hdr included it shows how the game was meant to be or its just another bug. That tiny little preview picture of any save game. I think bloom or hdr was not part of the game in the first place. FO3 is much darker, most of the things we see in FO4 was copied and modified from FO3. Whatever we will never know.

I think I'm safe...
