how did you get the character on the couch to look so much like Quiet, even before the modded components. Been trying for the past 50 minutes in character creator
Thats a quirk of the Faceripper program. Makeup, freckles, moles, etc. are not visibly transferred to the target save file, but are still saved in the background.
What you have to do is go to the showlooksmenu (slm), go to the face tab, target the neck are, change the skin tone and then cancel. Now all the face extras are loaded as the creater of the template made them. You can then save your character.
By the way, I drew a custom facepaint that closely resembles the MGSV original, Im going to upload that tonight.
Ooh, that's cool, I look forward to seeing that. Now we just need some better face textures and it should be possible to get quite close to Quiet's original appearance.
Finally got the chance to try it out in-game for myself, and once again really well done.
I made a few adjustments to the area around the eyes to suit my personal preferences, but that's about it. Uploaded a screenshot of Quiet wearing the new Spartan Sniper Outfit by Calyps since that outfit pretty much screams Quiet.
