Hello guys, everyone who downloads and comments on my mods, thank you for the 50K unique downloads. This is the latest update for this game, this is the final version, it’s better for Lena to do it hahaha. Now I’m also updating a couple of mods and trying to withdraw money from Nexusmods to Paypall, it seems like something has changed for Ukraine and maybe I can withdraw a couple of bucks and to be honest this will help me a lot. I remind you that I stream on YouTube and answer every comment in the chat, well, you’re still not 50k hahaha, so I’m even answering in English (my native language is Ukrainian) don’t let me I miss you. Thanks again and good luck.
To be honest, I didn’t understand what you mean. Can you give me more details? I just answered, but I didn’t fully understand what I was responding to.
Hey there. There is not Realistic Visuals Fallout 4 file to choose in the ReShade setting when pressing Home button in game. It is not even in the downloadable files in the 12th version. Is there a different way to install it or activate it ?
This is some kind of DOF in Reshade or DEPTH OF FIELD in ENB, try turning it off in Reshade by clicking Home and turning off DOF OR there may be cinematic dof or something else, just an effect with the DOF keyword, turn it off, or in ENB press Shift+F12 and there is a tab there Effects and turn off DEPTH OF FIELD.
Let's start with the fact that the enb files must be placed in the folder with the game, there is an exe file there, this is the main error and watch the video there are installation instructions
i think i have the files in the correct folder, the game folder: https://i.postimg.cc/rVdtMqfV/000373.png
1. I downloaded the enb and copied the files of the "wrapperVersion" folder into the game folder 2. next, i installed the ReShade 3. finally, installed the mod via Vortex, and copy the files in the description into de game folder, as seen in the screenshot.
am i doing something wrong?
i am going to check the video, maybe i will see whats my error
I don't think I'm installing the way you did but can't really tell for certain.
The instructions say:
Download and install ENB
Installing ENB: put all the files from the WrapperVersion folder except enblocal.ini and enbseries.ini in the game folder.
Download and install Reshade (only from the official website!!!).
Download my mod and put all the files in the game folder.
In the game, press home to open the reshade and select my reshade presets.
7.Thats all enjoy).
Does #2 include the .fx files? Those just fail to compile if I put them in the fallout folder and I think they are only meant as examples.
For #3 and #4, When installing reshade, it prompts for one ini file but there are two included. Am I supposed to select one or the other or does it not matter? It should download the needed effects from the preset, right? I think in one of the comments you suggested just selecting all the effects, is that what's needed?
For #5 is there something I need to do to specify multiple presets or automatically switch between day and night or am I supposed to manually switch presets for night and day while I play the game?
You pick one manually , and with the presets you can choose extra Reshade enhancements yourself . I have NVIDIA FXAA enabled via the NVidia control panel so apart from choosing the preset itself ( which takes care of the screenspace RT on it's own in the Reshade settings I have only activated luma sharpening and the Fake HDR . I have only done that for both the Day ini and the Night ini .
How do you go about updating it ? I presume I leave the day ini and night ini in the game until I've chosen the new combined one , then it's safe to delete the individual day and night inis once the new combined one is selected and saved as so yes ?
It's ok , I updated it by overwiting the two enb files you have and putting in the new preset . Once I'd put in the new preset I selected it in game and then saved the game and then it was safe to delete your two old day and night ini files . I didn't delete your old day and night ini files and install the combined new one before loading the game as my game was saved with the two separate inis loaded into it and I was worried that if my save was expecting those inis ( I dont know if the save itself knows reshade or enb is installed or what ) then deleting them before changing to the new combined one might have corrupted my save that was expecting the separate ini files .
Just look at his youtube video .. if you do that, it will work.
NOTE: He put the enblocal.ini and enbseries.ini files in the default fallout4 directory and by default in Vortex they install in the Fallout4/Data/ directory. I copied them up one level.
