Thank you for making this mod Tenhats! I love how we thought the same thing in regards to not even being allowed to go onto the dam. This is an awesome additional settlement for Fallout 4 and I will be keeping this as a permanent addition to my load order! I had no issues or problems with the mod!
I featured this mod in one of my YouTube videos a little while back!
Oh very cool! I'll go ahead and link that in the videos section, I always enjoy seeing what people build at my locations. And glad it's working for you!
That’s a caused by the precombines in the cells being disabled. Move the mod to the bottom of your load order. And make sure you don’t have precombines disbaled on your ini file.
I keep getting "you need to clear the enemies" when I try to start the workshop - but I seriously cannot find anything left alive. Has anyone seen this here before?
This means you have a cell data conflict preventing the registration of this settlement. Move the mod to the bottom of your load order and load back to a save from before you installed it.
I did wander around using tcl just in case some monster was underneath where it should be. Found one but it made no difference.
I have no idea what it could be - i removed other mods for nuka world - but i have set up a rule in vortex to put the plug in later in any future playthroughs, and I forced ownership with workshop framework, and it appears to have now registered correctly, gaining a workshop id of 40.
Yeah settlement mods just in general need to be very low in load orders as their registration is a little bit delicate and easy to accidentally get overwritten by other mods. Glad you were able to solve it with workshop framework though.
hey so i just downloaded it and when i go to approach the workbench i hit an invisible wall and its the same for the entire dam am i doing something wrong or is there another file i need to download
That points to a cell data conflict overriding the adjustment I did to the invisible wall at this location, try moving this mod to the bottom of your load order.
Weird as hell bug that's probably a conflict I can't figure out happening to me. I can go into the settlement and build just fine if I coc from the main menu but if I start a new game I am forever barred from Nuka World as the game teleports me back to wherever I try to enter from. Fairly certain the issue is on my end but if anyone knows why this is happening I would welcome the advice.
I'm going to try to replicate this on my end, but if you wouldn't mind -- load a save from right before you installed this and check if the bug is still there.
Edit: Tested on my end and Nuka-World map marker works fine, takes me to Nuka-World. I suspect another mod may have bungled it. There is a solution though, try this: 1. Type "coc nukaworldnukatownusa01" into the console and let it load 2. Walk to where you want the fast travel point to be 3. Type "prid 06025518" into the console 4. Type "moveto player" into the console
The Nuka-World icon will fast travel you to wherever you were standing when you typed out step 4. Repeat steps 3 and 4 if you want to change it to a different spot again.
Sadly that solution won't work as any means of Nuka World travel bumps me back (Fast travel, Monorail and SKK Vertibird) and save without works fine without Northpoint but bugs once added. Probably some weird conflict or I didn't sacrifice enough goats to the modding gods. Thanks for replying,
Sort of both. I didn't do the latter part because using coc causes a crash. Tried it with a few cell names. I do know my character is going to Nuka World when I use other methods as Nuka Town USA discovered pops up but I just get poofed back.
Coc causes a crash for you as well? That’s so peculiar. I haven’t the faintest idea what kind of conflict would even cause this and I’m not able to reproduce it on my end. If anyone else experiences this please let me know.
I think I figured out the conflict. Either Nuka World Reborn or Viva Nuka World (unsure which since I had both installed and then uninstalled) caused this issue with both mods installed. Still no clue why it would prevent me from going to Nuka World instead of causing previs issues like with Isle Of Refreshment though.
coc northpointfront03 should put you somewhere near the workshop. Sometimes when console commanding into nuka-world I randomly die though, so consider typing tgm before hand.
I'm on the latest version, used instabell to call settlers, and settlers indeed do walk around the dam to go stand in the water far below. I had crafting stations at the top near the workbench but they ignored it. Come midnight, they walked back up to go to bed.

And make sure you have the mod active in your mod manager.
