Hi. I got a problem with your mod. I'm running it with default settings and every time the reload should occur in VATS my reload speed is becoming increasingly faster and stays that way. After few VATS reloads I look like those rubics cube solvers :D
That effect persist in saves which might be gamebreaking. Any ideas where to search for a culprit?
Unfortunately I can't find the source code anywhere, I'll probable hide this mod soon. As far as I remember, the mod temporarly changes the ActorValue "WeapReloadSpeedMult" [FormID: 2D3], though I don't know how the temparary effect could remain active when VATS was exited (effects are cleared on VATSMenu exit). You can try the SetAV command: 14.SetAV 2D3 0 ( syntax: Reference.SetActorValue ActorValue NewValue ).
Bummer. It would be a real life saver for pistols and bigger amounts of action points. I get stuck on reload animations all the time (my character just stands there until he actually reloads and ocasionally quits VATS afterwards). I rolled back to a save before activation of your mod, so I can't test the provided troubleshooting steps, but thank you very much for a quick answer.
Heya, I actually was wondering for a long time if it's possible to restrict the glitch that allows you to reload effectively instantly by going into VATS targeting (start reload in real time, go into VATS, continue to reload in real time while the world is in VATS time) - is that possible using this? I tried messing with the ini, but haven't managed to get that effect, just asking to make sure I'm not missing anything.
I've got some crashes in melee combat, and Buffout logs showed VATSConfigurator.dll as the reason. Crashes ended after I removed. Works fine, if not play as melee fighter. Like this mod and endorsed it. Just want you to know, maybe you will think about update.
It would be very cool if you could create a mod to disable auto reload during normal game. Manual Reload Simple is inconsistent to me, sometimes it doesn't work, and I don't use Tactical Reload. I'd be thankful.
