Fantastic, it's the W2000 sniper rifle! As a fan of the Hitman series, this weapon is one of my absolute favorites. I'm thrilled to see it make an appearance in Fallout 4.
For me it shows over 100 and I don't even have Rifleman perk. I've yet to find an enemy that this gun wouldn't one shot, even just by limb shot. Then again, MODS. One mod to finetune damage vs damage taken (I have it set at 200% dealt and 200% taken), with RDM modifying damage taken per bodypart and Direct Hit overhauling how armor/penetration behaves.
My only gripe is that skins look weird. Like, one is gaudy gold, one is shades of blue of all things, the standard is wooden. But the wood is so dang bright for some reason that it clashes with any and all armors I have and there's no option to paint it a darker color or switch to black parts. But that's a minor issue that's only an issue for me because I use Classic Holstered mod so I can actually see the gun on my back if I go third person (which I don't generally when using a SNIPER RIFLE - since scopes don't work in 3rd person)
The real issue is I can't get reload to work, even with Tactical Reload and the patch file here, for some reason I don't yet understand. I can only reload once the mag is empty. I've even tried renaming the TR patch file to be the same as the main mod's esp but that only resulted in cyclical rule error for some reason. It's driving me up the wall
The Carrack .300 is a great rifle, it deserves more modifications for example, a high-tech modification of the Institute, a Faction skin, or something similar to what BR77 has
When using any of the scopes the reticles are not lined up with where the shots land, within close ranges where range isnt affecting bullet drop or anything the shot always goes a bit to the left of the reticle. I tried changing the aim and zoom models to default hunting rifle in fo4edit but still the same issue persists. Any tips?
