Love work you've done & am Enjoying the mod, kinda wishing more Fo76 weapons would be backported by the community into Fo4 at this point!
However, At this point i'm not really spending time doing the main quest line on my playthru's unless absolutely needed. Heck I had to start a fresh save/Profile because I couldn't find a save with story progression on it to make sure this was spawning properly & I wasn't just imaging it! That said would it be possible to either tweak it or add a separate level list version, that introduces the Hellstorm at a set player level, rather than Quest progression? Appreciate that means if Reunion hasn't been completed the only folks to find it on would be Super Mutants.
just a thought maybe lengthen the back part of the weapon so the back blast wont cook the players shoulder like how it would irl just so it looks more useable like a real rocket launcher? you dont have to if you dont want to just a idea i had
For those of us who don't know the real weapon, and haven't found it in 76, what does it actually do? Is it essentially a reskin of the base rocket launcher, or does it have unique functionality?
Seems to be like the fully upgraded vanilla missile launcher (the 4 barrel thing)- though I dunno if the base damage is equal or increased. Just more logical since vanilla barrel launching the missiles with "magic" I'd say.
Far less logical, you can change the barrel at the workbench so it can "magically" shoot plasma, incendiary and else of missiles with usual standard missiles.
It's a missile launcher that starts with 4 tubes and can be upgrade to 6 or fire special missiles, trade off is it has no guidance system. It's FO76 quirk of being 50% direct Impact/50% explosive damage doesnt seem to have carried over sadly

dont get me wrong i love the weapon i just dont why would anyone use anything but the plasma version

If you could bring the .50 cal heavy machinegun to Fallout 4, that would be very nice too.
