About this mod

Hold to block, release to cancel, block window lasts twice as long. Blocking is FAR easier and smoother, but remains proactive and satisfying.

Permissions and credits
This mod simply does the following:

1: Doubles the length of the block window
This removes the frustration of blocking too early but keeps the satisfying skill basis.
Blocking becomes far easier as you can now anticipate attacks and block early successfully - you don't need perfect timing any more.

2: Enables block cancelling by releasing the block button early.
You need to hold right click to block now, you can cancel block early to make well-timed counter attacks, or to enter block again if you blocked too early or want to quickly block multiple enemies.
Block-cancelling is smoothly and quickly blended into the idle weapon drawn state.

This mod is light, simple, and can be safely removed.

Download contains the following:
A loose meshes folder with modified meleebehavior.hkx files for 1st and 3rd person.
A plugin .esp with that changes block idle animation paths. The plugin is ESL flagged so should be safe in big load orders.

The loose meshes files and esp can be safely removed, but I don't see why you'd want to.

If you were using ACTUALIZED power armor mechanics:
This replaces and fixes functionality from the parallel direct-drive actuators arm mod. This uses a different method to extend the block window and makes it universal, as it probably should have been.
UPDATE actualized to the new 1.5 version so it doesn't conflict with idle animation records changes.
If you weren't using ACTUALIZED, then congratulations, you just played yourself - don't play yourself.
