First and foremost, as my first mod, it may not be thoroughly tested for full compatibility with other mods.
I'd also like to share that I recommend using Weightless Junk and Other Items with this plugin as well. They work together.

Installing this via NMM is the recommended method but it can be installed manually. I will not write the installation.
Alternatives: ESL, ESM, ESP. Please note that these options are identical files, but the ESL and ESM versions utilize a modified flag to
improve compatibility. If you encounter any issues, consider using the ESP version.

Make sure to read all the FAQ before asking for support. But any feedback is appericated! Please consider endorsing this mod!

FAQ.

Q1: Why would I want or need this plugin?
A1: You don't necessarily need it, but it helps a lot. You can now carry as many Stimpaks or other items without giving them to your companion. It's not an overhaul, just a fix.

Q2: Does this affect companions' carrying weight?
A2: Yes, it does, and in a positive way! This plugin allows you to freely give your companions Aid items, even if their inventory is full. You can keep giving!

    Q3: Is this lore-friendly?
A3: The lore-friendliness of this plugin is subjective and based on personal preference. I leave that judgment to you.

Q4: Does this affect other items or categories?
A4: No, it only affects Aid items, and that's the extent of its current functionality. However, I have plans to create other editions of this plugin in the future.

Q5: Is this plugin exclusive to modifying Aid items?
A5: Yes, this plugin exclusively modifies Aid items and nothing else.

Q6: How do I report a missing item?
A6: To report a missing item, simply leave a comment with the item's full name, and I'll make sure to add it.

Q7: Is there any potential conflict with other plugins?
A7: Not really. I manually edited all the values of the ingestibles to be 0.000000. However, if another plugin alters these values, you may need to adjust the load order in your Mod Manager (MM).

Q8: Does this plugin require any additional plugins or dependencies?
A8: No, the plugin is standalone and does not require any additional files or dependencies.

Q9: Can I customize the weight values of items with this plugin?
A9: The plugin sets all Aid items to a weight of 0 by default. Customizing weight values would require manual adjustments in the plugin files, which can be done with tools like FO4Edit. There is no MCM support or config file. I'd recommend getting Weightless Items for that.

Q10: How often will the plugin be updated?
A10: Updates will be provided as needed to address reported issues or add missing items. Keep an eye on the plugin's page for announcements. Make sure to add this plugin to tracking if you want to stay updated.

Q11: How do I install the plugin?
A11: Installing the plugin is simple. Use NMM or follow the manual installation method. Detailed installation instructions are not provided here, but you can place the Data folder within the game installation location.

Q12: Can I use the plugin alongside other gameplay-enhancing plugins?
A12: Yes, you can use the plugin alongside most other plugins, including quality of life patches, without issues.

Q13: Will using this plugin affect my saved games?
A13: No, using the plugin should not negatively impact your saved games. It is generally safe to add or remove it from your mod list during an ongoing playthrough. However, please report any findings if you test it extensively. Your companions should retain the items until you take them back, but avoid disbanding them if you've given them your Aid items.

I hope this answered all your questions and if I missed any do not feel afraid to post them in the comments.

Plans
I plan to make additonal modfications to make Junk, Weapons, Armor, Misc weightless too. But that will take some time. I will update this page later.
