I have a question. Do I need Nifscope to do small edits with helmet mesh? because I straight up doing it with outfitstudio, and I noticed the helmet mesh I saved would have the flashlight function entirely gone, I guess it's because I broke the reference for headlamp?
uh, it seems not working. I did save it as nif with references. but the headlamp still doesn't work. I only edited specops commander helmet's glow part and goggles up helmet's mask part. isn't it suppose not to interfere with light part?
Many thanks for the full suite of mods covering the gunner faction! For those who are using The StoryWealth Gunners found here: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/74368 be advised that the two optional files found here, namely Thats Gunner Life Patch and A StoryWealth Balance Patch are completely redundant. They won't harm your game to have installed but their changes will either be ignored (in the case of the former) or are already implemented in the case of the latter. That's assuming you load The StoryWealth Gunners after the aforementioned patches.
Yeah, it adds the "Night Vision" options to the Gunner Helmets that visually had the "Night Vision" stuff. So essentially lets you convert he Gunner Helmets to use NV or Thermal.

Is the Thats Gunner Life patch still needed if we use eXofied Gunners?
There is Export, and there is Export with References.
Choose the latter.
You could try export "_new" and then just copy the modified stuff in NifSkope to the original mesh, should preserve everything else.
