Probably would have to clear it with both you and dpillari but I'd like to port this to Xbox. I've spent far too long searching for a Remington 700 that isn't filled with cheaty recievers and Modern Warefare tacti-cool bloat. Came to the conclusion I'd best just flip the bolt on the in-game clone and give it a good skin mod.
Edit: Actually I doubt I can do it from my end... the 2k texture files aren't getting along with Photoshop CC2019, I can load the _d texture files just fine but the normal and specular maps cause a program error. My kingdom for 1k texture versions -_-
I'm not sure what exactly the problem is. First off the diffuse as well as the normal and the specular map are all 4K not 2K. Second i use gimp to edit the textures and paint.net to save them- in this case they are all BC7. So if you can open the diffuse you should theoretically also be able to open the normal and the specular, but i don't use Photoshop and i'm not familar with it's quirks- but to my knowledge it should handle BC7 compression without problems. I can open my textures just fine with paint.net, so there definitely must be a problem with photoshop. That said, i can downscale the textures to 2K or even 1K, but i'm pretty sure that this will kill the looks.
EDIT: The original texture by Dpillari has no 1K version, so it doesn't make sense to upload something this low quality for me either. But 2K is on the way:)
The problem wasn't the resolution in the end. It was the DDS compression he used on some of the files. Photoshop has no idea what "BC5U" block compression is or how to handle it so it just throws a program error. It might be because I'm on a Mac and don't have the right "image codec" for lack of a better term.
But if you say GIMP can open the files it might be worth me installing that just to get to these files >.>
Edit: Oh for the love of crumbcake, that's all I needed to do. GIMP can read those weirdly-compressed DDS files fine- I re-exported them under the much more sane DXT1 compression and now they're perfectly readable by everything. :P
It "should" be compatible with every version out there, as they simply flip the meshes to the right side. But i haven't tested them all. I personally use Hitman's animations, as they are very well done and also include 3rd-person anims- a big plus in my opinion.

Archive is 0kb in size. Both MO2 and system say it is corrupted/unreadable. Anyone else? It's now fixed.
Edit: its up !! Alles da. Danke
