    New Version 1.2

I have removed the heavy variants of the Republic armor and renamed the medium Republic armor to Dragoon armor. The intention was to have the heavier elite armor be replaced by my new marine armor variant in a separate mod. https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/77633

Other new additions include a new gasmask variant that will appear on randomized militiamen. Some militiamen on patrol should now have sergeant helmets and gasmasks equipped.

Can I recruit minute men to follow me around like I'm leading a patrol?

heya, just a question. Does the mod changes the settlers/defensive units from the settlements? Had a couple veterans and scouts that still keep the cowboy hats and default armor.

I changed the level items for the vanilla minute men. So it wouldn't change any base settlers or modded minutemen lists.

Odd, the only thing I could think of is that you may have a mod that overwrites the file?

Love your mod! I have a question and regards to the head wear what would I need to do to swap out the helmets to be milita hats, tri corns that the base Minutemen would wear instead because I love the rest of this mods astheic? I want to keep the armor and face masks but I want to change the headwear to be more Minutemen like?

would I just swap out the naming files under the helmet wear to be the vanilla Minutemen ones? Or just use another mod to do it?

If you are familiar with Fo4Edit in the City-State esp, you should be able to find the level items that are LL_MinutemenGasmask, LL_MinutemenGoggles, and LL_MinutemenGasmaskSerg. You would then need to replace the Republic Helmet in those lists with whatever headwear you'd like in each level list entry. The hats you want probably start with clothes or armor but you should be able to find their technical name on the fallout wiki under the item's Editor ID. Hopefully that's helpful, if you're unfamiliar with xEdit there are some good tutorials in YouTube.

Thank you! And I do have some inkling on how it works since I did a little bit of editing to the meliora redistribution mod before just deleting things but, not replacing however, I’ll try this method you gave me and report back!

Got it working just fine! Is there a manner that I can spawn in the higher ranked Minutemen via commands? Like the dragoon or Sergeant or the marine armored one?

I'm glad you were able to get it working! Unfortunately I didn't edit the level lists to spawn armor based on level. Its just the basic Republic Armor at random. The dragoon and marine armors do not spawn on any of the Minutemen right now, but you can spawn the armor pieces via console commands. My version of the marine armor is in a separate mod on my page. I personally use this mod to change the armor of certain Minutemen or settlers, but I don't think it would help you with NPCs that despawn. https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/68030

This is so unbelievably based. We definitely need more faction replacers like this one. Do you have any plans on making more Overhauls?

I'm glad you like the armors. I may make more kitbashed armors in future, but I don't have any plans for faction overhauls at this time.

Is it for all armors or just certain types? The armors use vanilla assets so I am not sure why they would appear invisible.

If one were to use this with the Classic Combat Armor replacer mod, would the combat parts be replaced here as well or would they remain the same?

I believe that the chest piece should remain the same, but the arms and legs are not included in the mod and would likely change.

Would like to see your take on the Brotherhood of Steel. Maybe a Steampunk or Wolfenstein look.
