- Lore: Taking inspiration from the past incursions by the Brotherhood of Steel reconnaissance teams, the Commonwealth Minutemen have adopted reforms to become a more effective and professional fighting force. They have adapted the uniforms, organization, and technology left behind by previous recon teams. To support future dreams of a united Republic of Boston, the following changes have been implemented:

1) The Minutemen will be re-designated as the Militiamen of the Republic of Boston
2) Militiamen will be recruited and equipped with improved armor and standardized weapons
3) New Dragoon armor has been developed to eventually equip veteran soldiers
4) Some militia patrols will accompanied by Sergeants  
5) Select veteran Minutemen have been promoted to Captain

- Other Information: The overall aesthetic is meant for a professional independent Minutemen or an Brotherhood aligned Commonwealth Militia. There is currently no crafting recipes for the armors and they must be generated via console commands. The dragoon armor only contains the chest piece and require the other combat armor limbs. The Militiamen will be equipped with the combat fatigues, helmet, blue bandana, road goggles, and scoped laser musket or pistol via modified level lists. In version 1.2 some patrols will have militiamen equipped with modified gas masks. 

- Compatibility: This mod affects the weapon and armor Level Lists of the Minutemen NPCs and their names. 

- Permissions: The creation of patches and the use of armors in other mods is allowed as long as credit is given.
