Confirm the new version of the Statt works with the new TARDIS. However, you now have to actually locate the TTC before the remote functions. No more "cheating" your way in. Alas, but immersive. Fair call.
I did a test, if you "accidentally" (whether intentional or not) summon the tardis inside itself, you can get it to leave, by setting the autopilot on, starting the flight to either random or via navcom, then staying out of the cell it was summoned inside until the tardis lands, at which point it will have moved to where it's supposed to go, and you can actually leave the tardis without having to teleport.
If the control room is on fire, however, you are likely screwed. (It's possible to get the tardis to crash without moving if you use the "fast-return switch" when there's nothing in the fast-return buffer)
