hey nice idea but this is kind of of silly since fo4 has a vanilla way to get ammo in the game by crafting it if you have the Contraptions Workshop dlc
I know, but i created this mod so i can build ammo at every chemlab to use that cool gun that allways seems to run out of ammo and i wanted an esl. But nice to see different mods for different playing styles :-)
Ugh, Contraptions - aka let's cash in on the bizarre OCD crowd who want to make the game an unrealistic OTT base builder...
Anyway, rant aside, I personally thought ditching the ammo crafting bench and all the tons of silly ingredients were (along with ditching the companion wheel) some of the best advances FO4 made over FNV (or should I say best retreats - seeing as FO3 didn't have them either). I also liked how FO4 went back closer to FO3's simpler lineup of ammo types instead of the 650 in FNV...
...That said, if you really want ammo crafting then this mod's easy chem-bench approach is the way to go, I doubt even luddites like me would mind it. My only suggestions would be maybe 4 steel = 10 spikes or 1 cannonball, the bullet batches reduced to 10, and slightly more ingredients for fancy stuff like mini nukes and missiles etc (eg, nuclear material, circuitry etc), to feel a bit less spawny. Either way, thanks for sharing!
