    niston,
I can not thank you enough for this mod but, thank you!
I"m on my 4th play through, 2nd on survival, and to make it interesting I decided to focus on a settlements with a lot of provisioners as armed patrols.
I have about 115 now and your tool is great for summoning them for equipment upgrades.

Here are some questions which I totally understand if they can't be changed or fixed:

    1) It takes about 3 seconds to load the holotapes; could Provisioner Diagnostics be directly entered from a PipBoy menu item more quickly?

    2) It takes about 6 seconds to display a screen of 16 provisioners; could this be faster?

    3) In the main list it is ctrl-C to quit, in provisioner details it is X to back to the list, in inventory it is SPACE to back to details; I am used to TAB to go back in most Fallout screens, could TAB be a universal "back" in Pro Diags?

    4) Could the inventory display more details, like Combat Armor Leg Right Medium Poly...; this would help identifying provisioners in need of upgrades. Could I enter the number of the inventory item to see full details, e.g. 5=Mining Helmet, press 5 gets Green Pipboy Headlamp...?

    5) Could there be a "List By Settlement" feature, that is, list all provisioners based in Sanctuary or from Taffington, etc?

Even if all these items stay put, I'm very happy with this mod. The old way was tracking down provisioners on the road or ringing the bell at each settlement. Your holotape and summon is great in comparison, thanks!

Thank you for your kind words and your interest in the Provisioner Diagnostics demo application, dear user!
We appreciate your feedback and we trust you will enjoy your HAL product for a long time to come.

To answer your questions straight to the point:
      1) No. But the holotape could be embedded into a terminal, so it auto-loads on activate. Creation Kit required.
      2) The listing shows live diagnostics each time it is refreshed, this takes a while to update for each provisioner listed.
If you're ready to part with some info (warning flags), then the answer is yes.
      3) It's possible to do.
      4) It's possible to do.
      5) It's possible to do.

As the application is provided for free and intended purely as a programming example for the HAL7032 Terminal Emulation by the HAL Corporation of Armonk NY, any expansion of functionality must be left to the user as an exercise. May we suggest you read the informative HAL 7032 Terminal Emulation Programmer's Reference Handbook? Once you familiarized yourself with the HAL7032's many capabilities and it's Papyrus application programming model, you can peruse the Provisioner Diagnostics demo application's source code, available through github. Meanwhile, the FO4 Creation Kit Wiki is a beneficial source of information as it pertains to writing Papyrus code.

This is a great opportunity to learn more about Creation Engine scripting, modding and software programming in general.
We encourage you to undertake the endeavor.

      Always happy to help!

    Hello,
Thank you for sharing your wonderful MOD.
In particular, the provisioner's protected removal is so nice.
Now I have a reason to give them power armor.
By the way, do I need to remove this provisioner's protected status every time I appoint them?
Or does it work automatically once I operate it?
    thank you.

Is there a way to create One-Way supply line?
Like one that runs from Farms to "town settlements" ? Lets say Hangman's Alley is proivded food from Abernathy farm, but sends there nothing in return?

The Provisioners don't really move things from one workshop to another; They're, in fact, just eye candy. Resource sharing is done via Location links (similar to reflinks, also with a Keyword), and those links can -and in fact do sometimes- exist without any Provisioner NPCs travelling between the Locations. This can happen by "accident" and is known among Workshop enthusiasts as a "ghost supply line". The game system allows two Locations to be either linked together or not, and the resulting resource sharing between them always goes either both ways, or no way at all.

      TL;DR: No.

Always wanted to kill my provisioners! Does a nuclear explosion occur if I kill them within view? And can I do it without my settlers getting mad at me?

      No nuclear explosions, sry.
      Settlers won't get mad.
