With much enthusiasm I downloaded the latest version as this would perfectly enable me to do some stuff I am working on. However, when I tried both in Notepad++ and Creation Kit to use hal7032, I got errors associated to the lack of existence of the hal7032 script. This is the most strange as the script is found by the ck's papyrus manager.
To be more specific: notepad++ embedded compiler returns: "unable to locate script HAL7032:HAL7032"
Could this be related to the lack of psc in the source directory? Could this be related to some specific settings in ini files?
For the record: I am using oldgen F04, F4SE, CK with CKPE and vortex mod manager.
I am quite sure that the problem is on my end, not on HAL7032 itself.
EDIT: I uninstalled the newest version and installed the old one of HAL7032, which contains the psc files as well. It works! So the problem was the lack of source files. I could make my "hello world!" program and I am able to write both on the pipboy and on terminals! This is just awesome!
In-game, companions will idle looking over terminals, especially if you have already defeated the terminal's security. One several occasions this is material the companion should respond to reading, like the truth about Jenny Sands' death on the terminal over at BADTFL. I realize it's against the No Plot Code for Bugthesda but someone should consider adding those reactions so the Companions are all fleshed out that much more.
At first, I thought that the created "supply network" could be managed with this. Then I realized that it is not good for that task either. Since I did not find a "reset or cancel" command among the original codes... therefore, I feel the lack of a solution to correct or delete the confused provider routes is a huge lack. The "London game" only made things worse, which is... very unfortunate.
Yes the demo application was made to manage (and fix) provisioners specifically, and not for tasks regarding the supply line network. As you have correctly realized, that while both topics intersect, each ultimately requires specific tooling and UX.
I have so many ideas what could be done with the HAL7032 (motivation to make it, after all) but so little time. Rn Im working on an entirely new type of workbench that's based on the 7032, as you no doubt have seen on the screenshots. A project that has been sitting on the backburner for literally years (ever since the provisioner demo app was released) because, reasons. There will be a new release of the HAL7032, because I added some upgrades for the workbench project.
Thanks. I think a lot of people have or have had problems with the supply network. There should be some simple solution, such as the complete liquidation or deletion of.... together with the npc characters involved.
This is one command line among the many... for some simple execution solution...?
Imagine seeing old pen and paper style games on holotape, you could play the original MUDs that were inspiration to Fallout 1, on a Fallout 4 terminal.
Would it be possible to add a graphics mode? It would allow us to make old video games like the atari, but that would depend on the limitations you are having to work with.
Wow, this seems really amazing! Personally, I've always loved Hacker type simulation games like Hacknet and Hacker Evolution. It would be pretty neat if someone were to make a story mod that incorporated some type of hacking on the terminal's similar to those games that would affect in game world scenarios and uncover and find secrets.

Or/maybe you have an idea for this as well?
