When entering Diamond City, Dogmeat can't follow, and when you leave DC, Dogmeats sits there whining needing a stimpak. It happens always without exception.
EDIT: it's everywhere, when i get to a new area he gets downed before he enters the new area and needs a stimpak. If i go to a interior, he stays outside and when i get out again he is downed, he is completely bugged with this mod.
EDIT2: i managed to fix it by deleting this mod healthbonus from 50000 hitpoints and replace it with the regular dogmeat healthbonus.
So after some running around with this I have some feedback if you'd be open to it.
One:: I got bowled over by a raider dog that popped my energy shield and took a quarter of my HP and was spawning things like Dogmeat, only difference was they still counted as Allies to me, so the effect seems to be partially bleeding over to Raider Dogs, and some damage......
Two:: While the extra assistance is nice, the littered corpses of Dogmeat Clones, Mutant Hounds and Deathclaws sort of piles up after a while and take a bit to despawn, anyway to speed up their dissipation? That and I think he might spawn too many at times, seems to spawn one for each "Bite" he takes.
Three:: All the extra enemies also drop loot, while the extra was interesting, it also feels a little wrong to take things from what are suppose to be "Dog Support" xD, That and it feels wrong to take meat off a dead Dogmeat look-alike, Plus... The Deathclaws almost always drop Legendary items, not sure if that was intended but since I use a mod where I can rip the legendaries off and put them on other things, it feels a little too giving.
Four:: I get why you used the Lightning effect, does make him more epic, I just wish it didn't have the smoke.. That and the Energy Shield mod I have also uses the same effect for when the Shields "Pop" so to speak so it's a little bit conflicting cause of it.
That's about it for the specific Feedback, personally, I'd like to see a version of this where it's just Dogmeat's extra Bite, and regen, with out the lightning and npc spawn fest, he'd still be super, but he'd just be more "Compact and discreet" so to speak to tag along with. Honestly when I first installed this. None of that was happening I must have some conflict in my load order somewhere, but he was still tanky cause I'd never seen him go toe to toe with an Assaultron before, but once I redid my load order with a Smash Patch, I saw his true nature.
1st of all thx for the feedback 1- i think u need that mod that stops dogmeat share template with other dogs, so that wont happen, i forgot the name exacly, but is a mod like no shared dogmeat template, and that should stop it, i think... 2- despawns is handled the same as vanilla, but yes that can be improved :) 3- he spawns leggendary deathclaw so yes they will drop those things xd, i have to make more a subtile one :) 4- that is a vanilla effect that can be changed in tes5, change the fx line and u can disable or replace with something more subtle, is on magic effects, u will find that on his spells
Alsow I am working on a more discrete version, still exploring the game, i came from skyrim so i dont know fallout 4 that good to make complex stuff, for fear to not breack something, for now, so what i do is all safe 100%, with maybe unwanted little extra effects like legendary drops or raider dogs, but that can be fixed :)
U can change his attacks in tes 5 on attack data spell data, spells give different effects, then if u want to personalize u must edit mgf's by creating new ones to not edit the game ones :)
If u want to know all and personalize him to ur liking send me a message with what exacly u want to know :)
Sorry for the delay, but yeah I'm pretty familiar with XEdit, since I use it to tweak modify, and for smash patch splitting, and as of recently creating custom item sorters.... I hadn't thought to look at his settings in XEdit yet but yeah now that you mention it I'll take a look and fiddle around a bit in there. I'll look into that Shared Dog Template thing, sounds useful in this situation, don't need Super Raider Dogs running amuck.
do you realize that you made the most useless ( in my opinion ) companion in FO4 become the most OP and usefull in all FO history ? is a 100/10 mod for me !
Ah that armor i think is from an overhaul mod, mutant one, not sure... i do have quite some mods in my game so i cant remeber were that came from, anyway no is not my work :) if i remeber or find it i will let u know :)
