my only complaint - unrealistic build ingredients. 1 steel = to easy. should have circuitry/fiber optics too

Ever since I saw my great uncle flying those almost immortal B-17 Flying Fortresses I've always wanted to find a game that I can recreate a 'semi' functional B-17 (Minecraft's blocks are to fat and blocky and in il2 you can't fly them unless you have a mod and there is 2 problems I have windows 10 which is so high off the chart that was so lucky to even get it on my windows 7 and 2ndly I can't ever get il2 to play mods.) .... And now... I can finally make a settlement that can have a building that looks like a B-17.. THANK YOU!!!!

your making a b-17 in fallout 4 arent you? here's a tip ,if you don't already know if you delete walls ceilings or floors that are below others the ones above won't drop so doing this and a little time you can make a  whole squadron of b-17's in the air over a settlement..... if only you could find something to make spinning propellers that'd be great.

hey, I love it. I just wish I could stick them to the wall at a 90 degree angle.

For those of you who want them to go onto the ceiling, there's a workaround involving the console.

First, you might need to make the following edit in fo4edit.

    1) Open up f04edit with this mod loaded
    2) find the Non-Player Character (Actor) section
    3) For each turret find PPS - Properties and right click "add"
    4) add the following WorkshopAnythingIsGround [AVIF:0000033F] and set the value to 1
    5) do this for all turrets and save the plugin

To make it work on the ceiling
    1) Go in game, and build a turret
    2) select that turret in the console and then grab it using build mode
    3) type in console "Modangle y 180" without the quotes

the turret will flip upside down and you can build it on ceilings.

I will live with them being floor mounted. It made me wounder why, every time I place power connector's on the wall, then have to change for the ceiling, they did not make it so one would work on both locations.

Unfortunately doing this makes the turrets practically useless. They look nice and do fire, but their attacks hit the floor or ceiling they're mounted too and not the targeted creatures or enemies that enter into an area. Even when said creatures are directly below them, they tend to shoot up and into the object they're mounted too.

Hey, great mod! I just had two questions though. The names of the turrets in the build menu all show up as 3 blank boxes, I'm still able to place though. Secondly, when I placed the turrets on the ceiling, it seems like when they fire the projectiles hit an invisible barrier and don't go anywhere. Any ideas?

Because of this turret without a tripod, it seems that you need to modify mesh, so I just use laser ball
You can look at this MOD http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/8115/?

Yeah you're right. Upon looking more closely at a gltiched turret fire, it seems that 'modangle y 180' only inverted the visual/placeable model, but not the firing emitter, which remains on the roof.
