Notes: - This mod is hardcore - Disables many glowing oil lamps - Disables light around disabled glowing oil lamp - Disables mist around disabled glowing oil lamp - Replaces glowing oil lamps with burned out oil lamps and less oil as component - Keeps the vanilla oil lamps/lanterns in place - Does not break PreCombines/PreVis - Plug-in and go, does not require a new game to work
Special thanks to Trazibol and zlostnypopolnik especially for help tracking down ITMs and UDRs.
First I searched lantern and couldn't find anything like this and got upset. Luckily I did find this because it's exactly the answer I was asking while testing out lighting mods. Why is there so many damn lanterns in this room?
There are some spots that still have the light but no lamp. Like in Sanctuary inside the house on the table with radio. Idk if that's possible to remove or not.
Sorry my message was initially in French. Here after the same in English :
It would be helpful to add the .esm tag on your file so that it is at the top of the mods list. This will avoid overwriting data from other mods
You specify "This mod is part of a lighting series that will minimize lighting and light sources...." If you do, separate it from this Mod that only handles Oil Lamps, as they are already Lighting Overhaul Mods, this will avoid conflicts.
Personally, I made one, more than 20,000 records, my game really looks like Metro Exodus... Lol So I made myself a little lamp revision mod, since you can't see anything in the dungeons, and I will surely publish it soon because it works very well. You see better, but not that much Lol.
Besides, originally the game was designed with a dark atmosphere, it was only later that thousands of Fake-Lights were added, which destroyed the End of the World effect, making a nice poo in the Ubisoft style (with the Bethebugs in +)
This mod will be seperated of course. And yes an ESM would be more wise in the first place. I will flag the next version as ESM. Thanks for the insight!

The more i think about your words the more it seems real. Im comparing containers all day long and more and more it makes sense. There are containers not used by the game which would fit much better as a coventional container... but for whatever reason we have rainbow colored containers you can see from far away. That destroys every seek and loot mission in an instant as well.
For the lighting... horrible. The Creation Kit doesnt use HDR and Bloom s#*! and thus it looks far better in the CK than ingame. LOL. I dont know what they were smoking but it just works. Just not for FO.

This mod is one or four mods that change the fire sources in the game;
🔥 1 Oil Lamps And Lanterns Replaced
🔥 2 Metal Fire Barrel Replaced
🔥 3 Fire Effects Replaced
🔥 4 Upcoming
Thank you for your attention. Feedback is highly appreciated.
