when I throw it on the floor and scrap it, I do not get a vault tec circuitry item. I look in my inventory and the workshop. I open the weapon workshop and try to add a legendary and it says I have no circuitry.
I had to scrap the item at the workbench... then I received the circuitry...
I absolutely love this mod. It takes a silly and frustrating system and makes it into something much more satisfying. My only gripe is that it seems incompatible with all the ballistic weave extenders. If I'm not mistaken of course, it's not like I understand what I'm talking about here. Do you maybe know if there is some kind of solution ? Anyway, thanks a lot. I'm having a great time.
I think I found bug... I think? I can no longer upgrade Vault Suits. I only have the option to give them legendary effects. Not sure if it's also on other clothing types
I'm sorry... I have no idea how to insert images in comments like these. But the problem is simply that the Vault Suits can not get there typical upgrades. The ones that gives it more Energy and Radiation defense. It only gives the Legendary effects. Only gives Diver's Suit and Grognak Loin-Cloth effect. Nothing else can be upgraded as normal
After writing this I tried to turn the mod off and I could upgrade the Vault Suit normally again. Giving it the Energy and Rad. defense. So what ever is the problem is seems to come from this. Maybe there is a problem since you can now "upgrade" things like Road Leathers with legendary effects. Which in the past had no upgrades.
I can confirm the same bug. In xEdit all Vault Suits are missing the ap_armor_Lining keyword in their APPR record, you just need to add that with the new ap_Legendary keyword to restore the MISC modifications on them (so they should have both ap_armor_Lining and ap_Legendary)
Great mod by the way, i loved the original one and this is a step up.
Hello, this mod does not work very well, so to speak, some armor and weapons do not give the item to make legenary, examples: some leather and looter armor do not give circuit, the same happens for a large number of melee weapons, I thought it was a mod conflict but running the game without any other mod does not solve it, start a new game but it does not solve that error either.
I might have an answer for that. It depends on the effect. Since you don't get 100% material back from salvage, if the Legendary effect is to "weak" it gives nothing. I noticed that if an effect costs 3 chips you get nothing. As if you get 25% back. And 25% of 3 is below 1 so it just gives you 0. One legendary effect was worth 9 chips and therefor gave me 2 chips for it

Just tried dropping a legendary item and scrapping ,did not work .Do I need this mod to scrap dropped legendary items?

There is a field at the bottom of the record: GNAM - Mod Scrap Scalar
This mod sets it to: ModScrapScalar_Full [GLOB:001EE21A]
...which gives 0.5 resources back. Something else in the game is cutting that in half again.
If you change the GNAM - Mod Scrap Scalar value to: ModScrapScalar_SuperCommon [GLOB:0020F37D]
...that supposedly gives full resources back. Something else is still cutting it in half, so you actually get 0.5 resources back.
This means that on a legendary mod that costs 3 Vault-Tec Circuitry to make, you will get 1 back for scrapping it.
