mod no longer works on NG version of the game. It simply wont load when i do COC qasmoke and I did give it a good 5 minutes wait. the game simply freeze forever with this mod enabled.
I can get to qasmoke without issue on a downgraded NG version with 560+ mods. I can not currently test a pure NG version so, if anyone can confirm/reproduce your issue, then I will add a warning. Regardless, my mod does not touch qasmoke and, to my knowledge, should not impact your ability to get to that cell in any way. I'd suspect some other issue.
Unfortunately, I broke my modding process with NG and don't have the bandwidth to fix it right now, and probably won't for quite a while. If anyone wants to take on the task of making a skins pack (tutorials are available via the SS2 wiki), go for it!
Assuming they can path to them and your AI/scripting isn't bogged down, they absolutely should use them. However, also note that they will occasionally get in each other's way and will fail to path to the beds -- it's definitely not a perfect system (as is true for FO4 in general).
I'll help if I can, but I need more information. Which exact plots have you tried? Is your NPC AI working in general? For example, are they pathing to their work / relaxation assignments? How large is your settlement? Is this a brand-new settlement (i.e., you just built it) or a well established one?
Just wanted to say thanks for this mod. I love these plots and use them all the time!
I do not pay enough attention to find any bugs, so I absolutely did not notice the level-up duplication - so I have to go for a little 'tour of the commonwealth' and manually update to reset the ones I already have, or will they automatically fix themselves when I next visit?
It's not a bad idea to go around and refresh them all, but the pacing is really up to you; for example, if you have a really low tolerance for excess settlers then a rapid spin around the 'wealth might be the correct approach for you.
As for your second question, will they automatically fix themselves? I wish I could say for certain, but, it's complicated. The prudent course would begin with the assumption that they won't.
whenever that plot is being upgrade and i'm at that settlement, the bed count will increase by additional 4. after upgraded, the bed count on top hud never recalc, getting the extra 4.
if it upgrade twice, bed count get extra 8.
doing a manual refresh at the plot resolve it, but i never need to do this at vanilla ss2 residential plot unless for other issue.
