Oh well, I had real hopes this would fix the crash problems, but all it did for me was scramble the graphics for the vault, gave me a view like looking at a negative film.
i already have the negative film effect but cant seem to find what the problem is, did you found any other solution? edit: i found my problem, its 'scrap everything' incase you use it i recommend disabling it
Unfortuately, this mod didn't help me (maybe it will in the future - better safe than sorry), however, I loaded a very old save, before I left the vault, and it loaded fine. I fast traveled out of the vault, and was notified that I had failed to defend the vault against raiders. I tried to fast travel back and it crashed. I reloaded the save, and this time defeated the raiders...fast traveled out and back, and it seemed to work. I'm no modder, nor coding expert, but I wonder if there is a connection. Thank you to all the modders out there. I want to let you know that you are all doing an amazing job at keeping these older games fresh.

Thank you so much for this mod! It makes Vault 88 usable again. :) Would you consider doing the same for Vault 81 and the Molerat Den? I'm having the same freezes in those areas too. Right now I just use console commands to teleport to Curie without raising any of the molerats, but a mod like yours would be a nicer solution. Could burrowing somehow be prevented if that is what causes the freezes? Or maybe replacing the molerats with some other critters?
So, still freezing during saving while in Vault 88 or attempting to leave Vault 88, which I read is a problem with the molerats and radscorpins s' script as they are browing/teleporting. This has brick'ed my save. I have "No More Teleporting Creatures" mod also in installed. **Molerats and Radcorpins are still spawning** It may be vortex not loading correctly, but I also can't find the plugin to change the load order
@Kitlantra There are three Starcraft mods. Hybrid Evolution Monsters turns deathclaws into Hydralisks, bloatflies into mutalisks, mirelurk queens into ultralisks, radscorpions into Lurkers, zombie dogs into zerglings, and molerats into banelings. It also lets you craft dogmeat outfits at the chem station that turn him into a Zergling, raptor strain from HotS in black, red, white, or gold. Hybrid Evolution Armory adds Protoss Zealot armor/costume and several power armors: Marine, Firebat, Marauder, and Artanis's outfit. You can make the marine one look like Tychus or Raynor if you want. Finally, Hybrid Evolution Workshop lets you build missile turrets, photon cannons, siege tanks in siege mode as turrets, and even adds a siege tank to the robot workbench. (Yes that means what you think it does. No siege tank pilot voice though unfortunately.)
Thank you so much. This mod has solved the problem I had. Thank you very much for sharing it with everyone. Every time I ran the mole rats, the game was frozen when opening the menu or when trying to keep the game.
