The amount of time that something hasn't been updated usually isn't a good Factor to judge something off of. For example I use the latest PRP with the sanctuary Estates mods and they haven't been updated in 6 years and they are compatible as long as sanctuary Estates is loaded after PRP. BUT I also use Sanctuary Hill Overhaul Redux sometimes which has to be loaded BEFORE PRP for me at least or I get disappearing objects. LO matters too. Not trying to talk down to you I'm just saying that kind of logic is pretty flawed
Actually, Rawr is 100% correct. This mod regenerates precombines/previs. If PRP was updated after the latest version of this, then there is no way it could be compatible. Loading this in front of PRP will see the reappearance of many disabled items from this mod (as PRP will overwrite the precombines from this mod), whereas loading this after PRP will cause Pre-culling, due to the fact that the previs timestamp on this pre-dates PRP and the fact that it was not built against the same meshes (PPF.esm) that PRP uses to build against - so in this case, the amount of time is absolutely a good factor to judge from. Also, the mod you mentioned is not "compatible" with PRP; it can be run with PRP, but doing so has significant disadvantages.
Well I wasn't trying to sound smarter than him. I was just stating that I've personally noticed that "oh this hasn't been updated in so and so" doesnt mean it wont work or isnt compatible. Hence my use of the word "usually". And i did ask so I wanted a definitive answer and his was a "probably" and by the way it was said he wasn't 100% sure. And you say the mod has significant disadvantages when used together with PRP but I haven't noticed any. Not saying you're wrong. Just no flickering, crashing, objects disappearing. etc etc. From my own experience time isnt a good factor but with Precombines and previs I now know it is. Thank you for the knowledge
Using this mod with Beantown Interiors causes the entire town of Concord to have pop-in for buildings & landscape. Is there any possibility of a patch?
After hard and several test I've found that V0.2 has a lot of textures pop in at Concord using the mod The Beantown Interiors Project (obviusly at the buildings of this mod).
I would love if possible and if it's not too much work for you if we could have available two versions: one without Pre-combines and another one with Pre-combines.
Thank you so much for your work, love the mod but I cannot make it work properly with my current mods.
The best the author can do is to merge/collect all loose static objects into one singel static collection per cell. This way performance is similar to a PreCombined cell BUT without precombining and inconsistency with other mods due to the process itself. This way compatibility is as high as possible. Its very easy to do.
If it's easy and you know how to do it, would you sent me a private message and tell me how to do it? I just want to enjoy the mod without bugs and looks like the autor is bussy right now.
