this should honestly be swapped around. the footstep audio in first person sounds faster and more frequent than the third person animations lead on. something tells me theyre tied to the animation speed of any particular weapon though (the mk18 mod has fast first person footstep sounds when the weapon is lowered).
Would it be alright if I port this to Xbox (with credit, of course) I've wanted something like this forever. In 3rd person you can't hear a darn thing but in 1st person it's like "KER-CHUNK! KER-CHUNK!" as you walk.
Ugh... I ported it over and didn't change any code in the .esp file but in-game the footsteps are STILL quiet in 3rd person whereas in 1st person they're nice and loud
well the default footsteps are pretty quiet, in 3rd person they're affected by stuff like the distance of the camera and whatnot. this mod doesn't really make them louder, it just makes the sounds the same between perspectives
Bummer, this conflicts with my project reality footstep mod. Can't be patched really either. I see what you did here. Clever. The vanilla sounds are just weak to me. Looks like you went and lowered the volume (db) even more with the vanilla sounds. Maybe if you went the other way I'd use this.
