Hoistway Hideaway is a quest mod. Follow the epistolary story of a displaced Brotherhood soldier, Knight Tobias Ward, and his ghoulish companion, Chester Moore. Experience a new location and dungeon: The East ArmCo Manufactory. Acquire two new legendary items,a T-51 Power armor paint job, and a bunch of other goodies!
Features included with this mod are:
- Quest! (with Pip-Boy animation)
- World location & dungeon interior!
- Legendary weapon
- Unique piece of Legendary Power armor
- NEW Power armor paint job (for the T-51)
All of this mod's main content is contained within the new location, the East ArmCo Manufactory. This can be found just south of the East Boston Police Station or (if you have the Automatron DLC) right outside the RobCo Sales & Service Center.
Retextures done by me with Adobe Photoshop. Quest animation was made with a combination of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Animate
This mod started as a testing bed for seeing what I can do within the Creation Kit, and as an outlet to express my interest in level design. It’s about 20+ minutes of content but I imagine that timing will vary based on how quickly solutions can be found to the various problems placed in front of the Sole Survivor.
Compatibility notes:
For lore reasons, Hoistway Hideaway moves one of the burnt out Power armor frames (associated with the quest “The Lost Patrol”) to be out of sight. You are still able to interact with all of the other frames still visible and hear the accompanying voiced dialogue.
Hoistway Hideaway does not affect precombines or previs as all changes to the exterior Commonwealth worldspace have been additive, not transformative.
Hoistway Hideaway shouldn’t have any major conflicts unless you are playing with mods that affect the same exterior location as the East ArmCo Manufactory
