This is just a small mod that makes a few minor tweaks to the Mauser C96's textures. This started as a personal tweak, since I was bugged by the firing pin missing from the back of the bolt, so I added that in and fixed some spec maps up, but I figured other folks would like the tweaks I made, so here we are. Aside from adding the firing pin in, I also fixed the black square on the baseplate of the gun (where the box magazines would go) and fixed the silver finish's specular map so the black grip (which uses said spec map) won't render as a flat gray. All the textures have been saved in either BC7 (for diffuse maps) and BC5 (for normals and specular maps).
Highly recommend using the Vintage Pistol - Mauser C96 - AAM - Texture Edits, which gives the Mauser some lovely shine (and is what I'm using in the screenshots). Be advised, however; it will conflict with this mod, so if you download it, make sure to install the AAM Texture Edits mod first, then install mine and allow my files to overwrite. AAM Texture Edits does add a new specular map for the Gold finish, but I'm not sure it's used anywhere, so to play it safe I've included a PSD in the optional files that has the firing pin set up for diffuse textures and normal maps, so if you're feeling dangerous and have access to Photoshop (or any other image editing program that can open PSD files), you can make use of it to edit the textures as needed.
For comparison's sake, here's Kottabos' review of the Mauser, starting where you can clearly see the absence of the firing pin on the bolt:
