Weirdly enough, NAC touches some of the Game Settings involved with light. fSneakLightMult, fDetectionSneakLightMod, fSneakLightExteriorMult. So put this below that.
how do you edit the game settings? I switched over from arbitraion to your Combat AI Empowered and im liking it so far. If there's one thing i miss about arbitration through, it would be how chaotic it made the commonwealth. I miss the amount of combat between npcs and the amount of projectiles flying around. I would recreate it with your mod since it says more settings
I cleared a super mutant building on vanilla and with the mods a few times. Are they normally hyper sensitive to silencers? I shot the first one in the Wilson's Atomatoys build with a 50 cal silence rifle from across the room and I did get the other super mutants in the whole building to go on alert both in vanilla and with your three mods installed, but much less so on Vanilla. This may just be an engine restriction, but shooting someone with a silencer in a locked room alerting the whole building is a problem whether it's the mod or vanilla causing it.
Well, thats sadly a vanilla behavior. If you shoot in a building even with a silencer, the NPC inside are alerted.
With some other AI Mods they ALL start rushing towards you....(with Arbitration they do and with the pretty new and much downloaded R...ai also...) And yes, my Mod has a higher detetction and therefore few more NPC are alerted. But if you stay in sneak-mode after your shot, they should loose their interest in you, depends also a bit on your perks and equipment.
One of the things I noticed, which I don't expect you would able to fix, is that when the enemy are pulled out of their designed encounter zones you have weird stuff like their dying to their own tripwires or they encounter other placed enemies and it degenerates into chaos. Not entirely a bad thing, just conditionally problematic and a loss of XP.
Using it along with 'Combat AI Empowered (Crippled LMCC SMR noAWKCR ESL version)' and it woeks just fine! Thanks a lot, brother, for this one too! 😏🫱🫲 Endorsed! Quick one: what the new v1.0.5 Harder Combat Game Settings refers to?
Oh, well... dropping Chameleon effect from gear pieces combined with earlier detection may not sound that good for my health 🤣 Either way, I totally support the main version and I appreciate the effort!
P.S. Even if I've downloaded v1.0.5 on July 20th, Tracked Mods section still display "Updated" message.... probably because you've added 'Combat AI Empowered - Harder Game Settings Upgrade' 2 days later.
„Conflict“ not really, because PAnpc uses scripts. Perhaps it could be a bit overwhelming if you use both .... But also not that much, cause PANPC overrides many combat settings with his own stuff
You can use my mod here or Real.Ai with my „Combat AI Empowered“ wich edits „combat styles“
Combat Styles = tells a NPC which kind of hostile NPC he is (melee, ranged, automatic...) and which kind of weapon (melee, gun) to use etc. Game Settings = search distances, awareness, detection range etc.

thx again :)
The harder version changes the NPC ability to detect you earlier and they are overall a bit more aggressive

You can edit them in xEdit
