Wondering - Fixed Alpha Maps; Fixed Gobo Effects; Wetness Shader Fix - yay or nay with this / your other one? Not sure whether these are still required - or at the least, whether the files that they are overwriting from this pack are required.
I still run the Black Codsworth Fix / Fixed cubemaps right after this SavrenX ba2 set.
Then load the Wetness Shader Fix rather high, but still below SavrenX ba2 set so it win conflicts over SavrenX textures. His were processed in batches to improve appearance but I'm unsure if they had any wetness shader work.
Wetness Shader Fix affects a lot of textures so it loads high to allow later custom texture mods to win conflicts.
Top of Load Order: This SavrenX BA2 pack In High Load Order: Wetness Shader fix and then very next, Gloomy Glass. Mid Load Order: HDTP pack, other custom material, meshes and texture mods

FONG added 108 files to Fallout4.esm faces for a new total of 3,282 files in that folder. That means No Textures replacers are broken by FONG. However 36 faces could have missing facegen in FONGNG if a person has their 15 Vanilla BA2 Replaced using the old FOOG files. That hurts nothing because they didn't exist in FOOG anyway.
TL/DR - This version of the 15 Vanilla BA2 files has V1 headers, plus the new faces, and works in FONG or FOOG.
Thanks, I managed to download them. I imported them into vortex and installed them. There is no plugin though. Are you sure a plugin is not needed?
Edit: So, I compared turning off and on the mod and the textures look 10x better with it on. I never had a BA2 that works without a plugin. I think you should re-phrase load order in the directions because it could be misleading. Load order is based on plugin load order, not installation.
i don't understand why you had to update every file instead of just giving the update as separate folder that could overwrite, these files are soo large and take about 5hours to install if you install them all at once, had to install twice cause they got corrupt near to the end and took me a full day, all and all i appreciate the work you put into them to improve performance and this MOD compliments it even more
To work with both FONG and FOOG, all the BA2 archives had to be flagged a archive version 1. Four of them were flagged as 1 but the rest were flagged as 7 because, Bethesda. Also, I extracted every BA2 to loose files and installed them into MO2 so I could compare them to the OG version. Unfortunately, the occasional user had issues with the size of the Nexus downloads with it split into 3. Hopefully, 4 Nexus downloads is the happy medium.
Which community patch? Are you talking about Next Gen and the UFO4P? Yeah Next Gen breaks these kinds of Vanilla texture ba2 replacers. I'll have to rebuild it when tools can use the new BA2 format. -EDIT - this is what I read elsewhere. It's been working fine.
I've heard the file structures slightly differ but I've not seen any defects in game. That said, I did extract out the FONG archives and re-imported the SaverenX Textures. I'll have both a FOOG and a FONG release this weekend.
My download always failed around 6.5 gb mark. At first I thought my internet got disconnected, but it was consistent. Always around 6.5 gb. Also doesn't help that I'm on a free account. Sigh...
The SavrenX landscape mod has issues so it is not included. Loading another landscape only mod before this pack covers the missing improved landscape textures and keeps Savren's as the conflict winner for any textures which might conflict.
I also wanted to thank you for making these BA2. Always was to lazy to do it myself.
I take it the landscape textures cause too many problems to be integrated in this package? I'm using Natural Landscapes myself, just asking.

Damn this thing has a much bigger impact on the look of the game than i initially expected. Great stuff. I'd give you kudos all over again if i could for putting this togehter. Great work from SavrenX also of course.
Is there a way to make at least 4 or 6 part download. I'm kinda hesitant to DL such huge files as there is a tendency for the files to become corrupted. Thanks.
They are VERY intentionally set as manual download only. Automatic download and installs corrupt, manual download don't. Just use whatever button your mod manager has to install from an archive and you are set.
I agree would be great if this is 4 or 6 parts because second time my download corrupted nexus servers simpyl not strong enough to handle 10 gb + downloads at once
Yea unfortunately manual download can still be corrupted. I got the first big file done after 8 DL tries (50 min each try). Now still downloading the second and third.
Managed to only get one crc error from the second part... Every download have at least two or three errors. This time only one! So close to completing the second part.
Maybe try using a different web browser? Or I suppose it could be your internet too, I remember a long while ago bigger files would always fail for me, but Firefox has a good built in download manager now (that allows restarting failed downloads) & my internet is slightly better too. YMMV
