Had to change the mesh of the t-45 waist piece and stomach piece. Bone weights were off the hook and was very weird. Fixed the issue with the X-01VI crashing the game either wearing it or placing it on a mannequin. Had to fix the bone weights and made the butt plate slightly bigger because it looked off.
Like always report any bugs hopefully the game no longer crashes, but if it does I may have to create a new esp IF
Do you plan to make this not crash with cbbe? imo it doesnt quite need body slide support that would be sorta weird on the armor but just a fix for the crash or is it too hard
I don't understand how there is so little support/demand for this kind of mod. I get a lot of the arguments for the updated power armors but god it is not a preferable experience haha. I think 75% of the community still playing this uses power armor for 5% of playtime or less. it used to be the shit. probably 75% of players would wear some form of pa indefinitely once they had training perk. oh well. thanks for your contribution!
Hey Dominator, would you consider making a version that replaces the vanilla PA with these armor pieces? I have never liked the FO4 PA suits feeling like an extremely low speed vehicle, and thoroughly enjoy the FO3/NV suits more.
If you go into the creation kit you can fully remove the power armor and power armor frame files from the game, or just remove them from the levelled lists and delete them from the set spawning points (I.E. the frame on a boat far south of the boston airport) and then put the Classic PA in the levelled lists instead.
Using the No Power Armor Allowed mod and some Fo4edit-ing I have sorta done this: Making ROTCR a master to No Power Armor Allowed then using the existing outfits Dominatorv111 made I just replaced every No Power Armor Allowed affected NPC's DOFT with a chosen ROTC outfit, I also used RRagentmasechusets for some I think the PA gunners. Really any ROTC that has an npc dead or alive will work for this method or you could set up your own outfit (but idk the outfit system didn't exist in Fo3 so I'm unfamiliar with it and don't care to learn) It's no where near perfect there's some NPCs that were missed including all of the CC Enclave stuff that got wrapped in to base, I'd say I have a like 95%+ replace rate from what I've experienced tho I haven't really gone deep down any of the story paths that would have me interacting with BoS but it worked on Danse so I just said looks good time to start playing. I also run No Power Armor - NOPA which for my jank ass mod list doesn't seem to get rid of a lot of the frames but that's w/e to me it easier to ignore(achoo > console command disable > huh? what was that? must of been the wind.) than NPCs in PA but it does clear all of the pieces from spawning. Also expect jank to happen with any scripted PA animations like danse putting his helmet on ect. I also manually adjusted DR, ER, RR, and Cap values on all of the ROTCs I'm using, as resistances were low when replacing PA and not co-existing. Value was very low considering the vast scarcity in my world outside of BoS units.
[Before anyone asks everything I've done is so far beyond jank it's a miracle my game runs, I'm not making it a separate mod I mean it isn't even a patch I did hard edits 'cause I was lazy. I wouldn't even know where to start making/uploading a mod, I only know how to tinker I'm not a modder ]
