Pack these cubemaps into ba2, because they might not work for you. In Fallout4Custom.ini, under [Display], put: iMaxNumberOfCubemapsPerFrame=200 The cubemap system is totally broken, no one knows exactly what's going on behind the scenes. I wanted to edit the puddles to make them at least somewhat acceptable, but after plugin edit, material edit, texture edit, startup file edit, combining all of this and chaotically combining options, I gave up. f*#@ the puddles. Thanx for the mod.
For me it broke meshes by changing their form and/or stretching textures. E.g. outfits, garbage heaps etc. I have a lot of mods installed so go figure. Sorry, it was the Mesh Bounds Fix.
Unrelated to this mod, but I thought this would fix it. Every once and a while I have to exit my game and go back in becasue all shiny metallic reflective objects have a rainbow oil hue. In NO way related or ANYTHING like that weird disastrous "Rainbow Texture" bug that is the only dam thing I can find anything about because of how it has COMPLETELY dominated any search engine's results including Fallout 4 and rainbow. Just reflective things are getting a slight rainbow hue to them randomly. I've always dealt with this and never seen any posts related to it before. Anyone heard of this?
Alpha Maps, Gobos, lighting mod or maybe a water mod. One of those could either help or be what broke the reflections. Could also be an ambient occlusion bug. Would need more info. I've fought a lot of visual bugs over the years.
I never did install anything for lighting, water, and what not, but I've always seen this issue on any PC I played Fallout 4 with. I was using AMD a lot, and this is an NVidia. I tried these gorgeous vanilla cubemaps this playthrough but that didn't seem to fix it. I mean, Idc, these cubemaps are great anywas.
It only happens to new-looking metal textures like the shiny metal on a fridge, sink, or metal toilet. The reflections are way more colorful than they should be. I've never really experienced Fallout 4 in the last near-decade without seeing this in a playthrough, so I don't really expect to ever resolve it. lol But I just tried loading my game when I saw it and that works too. They just go back to normal.
Super travail, vraiment beau. 👍
