This is a great idea for loot goblins like me who plays on survival. Any way to apply carry limit? Being able to send unlimited amount of items is kinda op to me.

This sounds cool, since I'm mostly playing the game in the same way (no settlements, no fast travel, camping). Not sure how complicated this would be, but wouldn't it be cool if it would work the other around as well: like if you could also send Dogmeat to one of those Home Bases to actually fetch something for you? And then bring it back to your Home Base once you no longer need it?

By the way, I have been using this highly underrated mod (combined with SKK Mobile Workshop) to place connected containers all over the wasteland (at my campsites for instance) to store and collect stuff during my travels:

Perhaps I could somehow combine your mod with this system... Not sure if Connected Containers would conflict with this mod though, since I guess they would both modify the container.

The reverse should be possible, ill think of how to do that.

Connected containers, idk depends how it works , my mod dosnt modify the container at all, it just makes a note of what container has the marker item inside it.

So at a guess... I imagine itd work with mods that add custom containers, as long as those containers dont do anything weird with their contents.

EDIT: It seems like connected containers merges all the contents into one big container? so yeah that could cause problems, my mod marks down what container the marker was placed into, and then removes that container from the list when the marker is removed.  If the connected containers mod takes over that process, depending at what stage in the process it injects itself, then it could confuse this mod.

Worth a try though to see how it interacts
