Update - New optional Lite version is out that removes the ability to craft the Perk Magazines, keeping it more "Vanilla". Download either this or the other Main, not both! Enjoy!

Update 2.0 - Missed Junk has been added as well as additional tweaks to weights and values.
I do recommend picking up magazines one at a time. As it turns out, the featured item pause was to slow down players so the perks would apply and go into effect. (In fact, Featured or not, the makers of the magazine gathering mods like Outside 111 recommend NOT using "take all" for the container of magazines lest you skip over the perks!)
If I didn't know what Kotex and Cottonelle's origins are, I would despair of the whole books-for-cloth bit. That said, I do know the history of cellucotton.
one question, why touch the perk mags at all? ill have to patch a lite-lite version to restore the keyword 'featureditem'. Also there are some ufo4p name changes which get reversed.
On Lite version picked up world magazines were not giving the perk associated (for me). Ended up editing and removing the books section everything worked fine after that.
currently working on a few updates to some of my mods, but they'll be released after the upcoming Fallout 4 Next Gen update incase it decides to break anything :)
Not complaining to be a jackwagon, but it now seems I am not getting the perks when I do pick up the magazines in the wild or make them.
I am on the edge of generating a new game to check it that way, just thought I'd give a heads up.

Glad to hear you got it working! Unfortunately the legendary pickup effect would play out whilst in the crafting menu which caused the game to crap out, but luckily it was an easy fix, glad you got the perks working!
