what is the weightless version for? i dont understand the difference. i have some mods that change ammo and item weight, but i don't use a pure weightless item mod.
is the weightless version, for players who don't want junk items to appear as weights in the inventory. added to be compatible with some wieghtless mods..
in addition; it is not compatible with mods that include regulated weight adjustments. not saying it won't work, but I don't recommend it. only compatible with mods that make misc and junk weights 0!
I've noticed this as well with many of the sounds, they're very subtle, but even with headphones I still can hear them barely as they battle against my music.
This is great, fits in very well. I had forgotten I downloaded it and was doing some looting. Picked up a telephone and went, "wait, that sounded satisfying. I must have downloaded that mod." I've become a hoarder thanks to this mod.
I have not tried this mod but I have enough knowledge of how something like this works that I think I can make an educated guess as to what happened.
This mod overwrites the game data using an .esp, changing the pick-up sound for an item. The data overwritten includes the item's weight because it's all in the same area of the .esp. Whichever .esp is loaded last will win the conflict.
So, technically, it does not "break" weightless mods, it's just a conflict. To fix it just open the both esp files up in xEdit and carry over the changed weight values and that should fix it.
Modding 1 0 1...this mod not only provides sound files for the different sounds, but also a plugin which edits the records of many items, so the new sounds are being used in-game. Assuming the records are "copies" from the main plugin (Fallout4.esm), all items have the vanilla weight again. Use FO4Edit and check for yourself, assuming you know what "FO4Edit" or "XEdit" is.

how does a sound effect mod affect weight mods? 🤔🤔
