Finally, there is a mod that offers a nice range of gambling and arcade games with well-balanced casino games and the opportunity to test your skill and aim with SynthShoot. Ok, it's not like the casinos in New Vegas, but it doesn't have to be. It's a little world to travel in, which is good because it means the Commonwealth remains untouched (except for the teleporter in front of Diamond City, of course). So no language changes of locations from german to english because of only one added NPC that is hard to change back in FO4Edit. :D

I'm very excited to see how the mod develops further. If I could make three more wishes, it would be:

    - withdraw the caps that you have in your account (full or parts of them)
    - a simple BlackJack with all possibilities (BJ pays 3:2, double down and so on)
    - a Jacks or higher video poker game.

iqoniq, thank you for your hard work so far and for keeping Fallout 4 alive!

The withdrawal feature should be available once you've gambled over 1000 caps, not counting free bets.  That came about due to me examining an online casino that had a requirement that you had to bet the amount equal to 4x the bonus from the sign up (which was crazy high amount they were offering) before you could withdraw anything.  It just seemed to fit so well with how I could imagine an online casino working in Fallout 4 that it just had to be included, although I've been a little kinder.

Card games to a certain extent will be available at some point.  I need to break the game down into code, figure out how to do certain things, and then display the result.  When you've got something like Blackjack where you have cards like aces which can change value (2 aces = 12, 2 aces + 10 = 12), splits and some other things then it starts to become a lot more complex, and the effort/reward equation comes into effect.  It's also a pain to test if there's something that happens rarely.  Yes, I could force values, but I also need to test it running normally even if just to see whether it happens more than it should (not all pseudorandom numbers are generated equally).  They'll also probably be towards the end of development.

There's also some cross development going on between my bank mod CCM++ and this.  There's the ability transfer money around between the two, as well as a remote play option for some games (Oughts n Xrosses was a challenge because of all the combinations, and the fact I can't use text replacement on a Pipboy, because it doesn't have a reference as such and I wasn't going attempt it in Flash), and a bonus game only available if CCM++ is installed as well.  This is almost near completion, hopefully within the next month, and adds to both mods.

You're also being too kind.  I'll accept that I help, but there are more talented modders and better mods out there.

Ok, I've tested your mod not long enough to see the withdrawal feature. You are so kind to give 100 free bets. That's a lot. ^^ And I tested the function to convert Lucky Points into free bets after I won a jackpot, so I only had free bets so far. :D

I've never modded anything (happy that I can change some values in FO4Edit) so I can only imagine how tricky some games could be. Maybe it would be a bit easier to have a Jacks or higher card game where you f. e. don't have 2 values for an ace and you only have to check if you have 2 pairs, 3 of a kind, full house and so on at the end. I don't know. Baccarat would be a dream but that would also be very tricky because of the rules. :D

As I said, I'm happy to test anything in the future and I already have fun with your mod. That was something I've searched for days because I wanted to have a bit New Vegas feeling in my game. And because your mod is still relatively fresh compared to the release date of FO4 and as a bigger project still supported, it's a good sign of life for me. :)

This looks awesome. I kind of figured it was going to be something good when I saw your name on the tin.
