Tesla Cannon Unofficial Patch

Tesla Cannon is my favorite weapon from the Creation Club, as well as Fallout 3 and New Vegas - However as it is shipped, the mod has many problems, including the radiation cloak bug that caused your character to damage friendly NPCs after picking up the pipboy during the quests, there are attempts to fix this problem in nexus, however the more 'famous' patch that claims to fix it doesn't really work. (Due to some plugin problem)

The Tesla Cannon model is superb in quality, however it is also mired with many problems. The Jury-Rigged prongs does not have a proper collision setup and therefore will be floating if you drop the weapon on the ground. The attachment models are inconsistent, and the weapon does not have a reload animation and act like a 'limitless' weapons.

Now, I haven't made the reload animation for it yet, But I have provided some fixes for the gun

Standalone Bug Fix

Fixes the radiation cloak and collision bug, doesn't do anything else. At least you'll not be fucking up your game and make everyone around you hostile

Unofficial Patch

Munitions Required : Change the ammo to Electron Charge Pack

More 'personal' alterations have been made - The barrels are now streamlined into two upgrade path, Focused Beam, which improves the range, and Experimental, which increase the explosive damage - each mode will have a different barrel model. There are two mode as before, the cannon and beaton modes, and the upgradable damage receiver.

The damage should be slightly increased due to the new electrical explosion effect, however I cannot make it very high (until I have the reload animation) - in the mindset that this is a new version of Tesla Cannon that has lower damage, but does not have to reload.

Changed the Legendary Effect of the quest one to radiation because the no reload legendary is redundant.

Leveled List Patch

Provided by Robco Patcher, the Tesla Cannon should appear with the Brotherhood of Steel members from Level 15 onwards, 20 onwards for boss, and can appear in vendors from level 25 onwards. (Will be easier to find in BoS Vendor)

If you have the mod Power Armor to the People installed The Tesla Cannon will be added to Institute Power Armored Synths.

Modder Resources: New Rigged Model for Reload Animation. (Not included in the patch)

I must admit that at the currrent time, I do not have the time to make a proper animation yet so I put that aside for now. However I did created a new receiver model for Tesla Cannon, since the model itself has not been rigged for a removable magazine/electron charge pack. I have made a rigged model where the electron charge pack at the butt is detached from the receiver and fit into the WeaponMagazine bone, and can be movable when fitted into a missile launcher animation.

I provide that model as a modder resource in this page, if anyone wants to have a try at animating it, because I don't have time for it yet... but I might do it one day if no one end up doing it. (I can provide more information too if anyone wants to)

Nif may have to be further adjusted though, as for now it is floating around the gun in the wrong position.
