I kind of prefer the simplistic naming convention in the original. I'm thinking of shortening names where possible for all creatures. Like how Glowing Ones are just called 'Glowing One.' I can tell by the Star that the creature is legendary, so that can be omitted. I can tell by looking at a creature that it is a particular species. This won't work for all creatures but will make many less clustered in the name tag.
For example: 'Feral Ghoul' 'Putrid Ghoul' 'Rotten Ghoul'
or for other creatures
'Softshell Mirelurk' no change 'Mirelurk' no change 'Killclaw' 'Razorclaw' 'Glowing Mirelurk' no change 'Glowing Razorclaw' my own addition with it's name shortened from 'Glowing Mirelurk Razorclaw.'
I think my mod should still work as long as it is placed after that patch but take that with a grain of salt as I could probably test that further for conflicts before the next update.
sounds good, im excited to see it. also one small suggestion, experimental feral ghouls might fit better as deformed/malformed/crippled feral ghouls, given theres no experiments being done on them
