Is anyone else having problems with McFarland and Middle of Nowhere not registering as full settlements? I have tried dozens of times to reload a clean save and start over, going through old saves and trying the plugin there, going to a very early save and deactivating most of my settlement mods (before they registered), and each time only McFarland and Middle of Nowhere give me 0% happiness and won't take settlers, the other three locations seem to work fine.
So, I've found that AFT does not just break the follower from this mod, but also all settlers and basically any NPC related to settlements. Even the CC dogs. When interacting with the Golden Retriever north of Sanctuary, when recruiting it, no settlement show up to send it to. It's interesting how AFT and this mod break nearly everything when used together. Choose one or the other people! Don't be like me and break an entire save!
I'm sorry to disappoint. Going to show my age here, but honestly I had no clue about Courage the Cowardly Dog. I just looked it up a few minutes ago. When I first started this map I was just making a settlement for fun and I had a large empty flat space so I named it nowhere, then I made the settlement in the middle so I called it the Middle of Nowhere and it grew from there. Now that I know I might try to do something even if it is just a little note somewhere.

If I understand correctly, there are 5 settlements on the territory. I build them up, settled 5 people, happiness in each settlement is 100%.
Sorry to disturb Will there be special settlements on the water surface, in the sky, underground in mountainous areas, road autobahns, amusement parks. Your workshops are complete, without glitches, it would be great to place them all over the map, coming up with appropriate names without buildings. More settlements may get added in the future, however I currently have a lot of other plans and a lot of empty space to populate. I do like the idea of a settlement on the highway. But i need to finish the highway first. Thanks for your interest, and your welcome. I'm glad you like the settlements.
Edit: I was just looking at the lake. I do like the idea of making a workshop on the shore and people can build over water now that you mention it. Thanks for the Idea.
Thank you for responding. If you build in the editor creating another Fallout №, these will be errors and performance drops. It is easier and more difficult to install workshops all over the territory at the same time. The name of the city should reflect the approximate location. Examples of names. Nautilus city. You can place 20 workshops on the map, My version is based on pictures from the game, it's just my imaginary location on the map and in the game maybe I'll build it that way. Some more play results. I believe I found the boss. The loot on him was good but balanced. Good enough any player will say "this is nice I want this" but not so much that it will break the game. Good. The loot at other locations also falls into the category good but not unbalanced.
PS: When I installed your 1.1, my changes to your worldspace were (to my pleasant surpise) retained. So I still have Mcfarland Ranch and the 3 girl settlers and Jay, large and in charge there. My furniture, turrets etc etc were all still there. So I was having fun with it and building the place up some more, depositing a lot of loot for future generations at that location to use (I have a mod so NPC girls can get pregnant from player and/or male NPCs depending on settings..... and the babies grow into children and the children into adults over months/years of game time) ... but I will not go crazy since I realize you will have many more revisons to got to flesh out the worldspace and I cannot take for granted that a new download will not nuke my changes to Mcfarland Farm. And that would be ok, its part of the process, do not hold back just for those of us who are early players. But it also means, I will not put in a lot of extra time and resoruces into that place since I know it might happen. PS2: there doesnt seem to be nav pathing at all, for the NPCs to walk into the main building there. When I come there at night, no one is in the beds i made, they are just standing outside right at the wall of the big metal building. Clearly trying to get to those beds, but just stopped by the wall despite entrances being right on the other side. When I go to sleep and wake up I often find 2 of them working on work benches so they must have teleported overnight.
Just curious if you found the weapon before or after the update, because I did lower the stats a little. As for the navmesh I will see if I can improve it. Thanks again.

I love new lands mods and am excited about this one . If its true its same location as the popular "The farmlands" entrance as another poster suggested it might be an issue for me . at least on my main playthrough I committed a lot of resources and time to build settlements in the farmlands are. The farmlands is actually mostly empty of NPCs (albeit well done) so your new lands mod may be more interesting in the end if, as it appears, you have funtioning neutral NPCs and a trader I am starting a new playthrough and so may be eager to download yours when its done and might be willing to disable the farmlands.
I was unaware of "The Farmlands". I may change entrance location if it is a common problem. Because its still being developed I did leave a back door on the second house from the red rocket. However that itself may cause it's own issue with another mod. So many mods out there its hard to find good locations.
It's good to be mindful of whats out there but no need to overdo it. Your mod looks like it will be great. Dont delay it, just to hide from the other mods, they are not more important than yours
Given that it's a Zorkaz mod location, a lot of folks looking for interesting non-vanilla stuff will know about Farmlands, Wilderness, and Marshlands. Yours is definitely sitting at the same entry point as Farmlands, I'd suggest something nearby though I have yet to consult my 'main settlement mod' map (in progress) to say whether off the top of my head any specific building might be close enough but still away from the entry point to Farmlands. There are a significant number of settlement and location mods on the west side of the map but they are somewhat scattered.
Me too. The original map only have ONE town, Diamond City... ... and nothing much else. Too small. Maybe author can copy his neighborhood and bring in his neighbors, pets and scripted randomized events to enter a secret UnderWorld of ghoals, or Mutants or Deathclaws or ghosts or Skyrim or... ...
I have bookmarked this mod, and hopefully soon many exciting contents will be added in, and NO bugs.
You can have one or more super tall towers... ... even a city or town in them, even have Zelensky, Putin and Joe Biden in them, even with radio broadcasts about Ukraine war and such. You can have a cult imported from movies or real life in your map, you can have anything fun and special in!!!
And I will like to visit your 'kingdom'.
You know... ... since it is a nuked world... ... you can have a area like Bannerlord 2... ... with two 'gangs' or three and more, regularly or randomly or scripted to be moving to some areas and have war... ... on horses and no guns. Or a parade moving from one point to another... ...
You know, visiting an area as a tourist... ... encounters and quests and funny 'sights' and explorations are so important.
Take your time, don't be too long though. And remember to consider the interactions of mods and modded NPCs to your world.
Sometimes I am hoping somebody to create a Singapore neighborhood... ... with the flags and items of the state. Which is, you should have your world items and culture of your world into your virtual world. And you can be there as an NPC to talk to the players, market yourself as well.
