Feel free to suggest specfic safes in game locations to edit and fill with lore frienlier loot. Or more items to all safe (I was going to add Teddy bears, but they are pretty big and would eat up all the physical space in a safe).
Add the teddy bears. I'd argue that it doesn't matter what size of item you are putting in versus space available in safes. It already makes no difference. There are frequently huge things coming from looting small "containers (kills & containers)."
I'd love to see a version without cutlery. No one is putting a table knife in a safe. Always breaks immersion for me.
While I'd argue that the loot seems high at first glance, I can dig this.
By default every single safe has atleast 1 gun, but from opening a couple safes. The default 10mm pistol is still most common, revolver and old pistol is a bit harder to comeby. It would be interesting to find a way to make the gun chance be 50/50. It is a little silly that everyone kept a gun in their safe (even bank safes). Maybe I could make safe loot region specfic as well with custom safe level list.
Also big plus on the ESPFE. A lot of people just doesn't seem to care there.
A lot of people make plugins with creation kit and I think it defaults to esp. Making plugins in FO4edit, it always ask you what type of plugin to make. I always select the esl flagged one and so far all my mods work as intended.
You could add things like technical and legal documents, expired ID cards, special keepsakes such as keys and old love letters (if you really wanted to you could get creative with this and have old love letters the player could even read).
Signed baseball cards, lewd photos, pr0n mags, jewelry (might have to add custom items for this, I don't think necklaces and rings even exist in Fallout)
Speaking of technical documents. First FO4Edit screenshot suggest some where actually removed, so might wanna revert that.
I forgot to mention that technical documents are removed, I will be uploading a seperate mod that only spawns them in location that would make sense for them to appear. From my limited brotherhood playthrough, I found them in almost every container that I came across.

I considered them, but I think they are too long for the safe to close the door. You don't find them stored in any chest either (As far as I can remember), always just laying around on the floor or shelf.
