This mod retextures the 3 satellite world maps to include various marked & unmarked locations.
The goal is to make it easier to see what collectables a location holds in the least intrusive way.
This is the alternative version of this mod. It uses Alternative Satellite World Maps as a base.

This included the following changes:
All locations, bobbleheads, magazines & holotapes are marked.
Various unmarked locations & points of interest have also been marked.
Satellite maps for the Commonwealth, Far Harbor & Nuka World are included.

There are 3 different editions for 3 different collectors.
The minimalist marks vanilla locations & events.
The completionist also shows bobbleheads, magazines, merchants & quests.
The perfectionist further includes holotapes, underwater locations, uniques & power armors.
There is a modified version of the perfectionist that excludes power armors
for people that use a mod that tweaks or removes them.

Events, merchants, quests, underwater locations, uniques & power armors are unmarked in vanilla.
Now you can see where they are. For more information, see the Articles.

A configuration file is included that fixes some general issues related to the Pip-Boy and the maps.
The necessary line disables FX to allow color on the Pip-Boy screen.
The other lines cause the screen to not look washed out, and puts the Pip-Boy screen distance in a much more comfortable place.
These are some INI tweaks that I have personally used for years, and they will improve your experience with the Pip-Boy.

Download with any mod manager.
No requirements.

They are simple textures, so it works with every Pip-Boy mod out there.
I tested it on the Pip-Pad, Pip-Boy 3000A, Pip-Boy 2000 & Pip-Boy 2000 MK VI. See pictures.

Here are mistakes that have been reported so far. If a sizeable amount collects, I'll maybe push an update to correct them.
Campus Law Offices has a magazine marker that should not be there.
There is only 1 magazine at Bunker Hill.

The goal
The goal is to make it easier to see at a glance what collectables a location holds before entering it.
It had to be as clean as possible, since map markers like to overlap, especially in downtown.
I also wanted to mark certain locations that vanilla doesn't touch, making them findable on the map.
No scripts, no broken precombines, a simple texture replacer.

No color
Another mod or config file is overwriting the "bPipboyDisableFX=1" line.

Markings
I primarily marked locations that I personally want to know about and go towards: unmarked merchants, unmarked events & certain annoying quests.
It's not supposed to mark everything. 95% of unmarked locations should be stumbled upon. If you miss those on a playthrough, it's not a big deal.

Compatibilities
FallUI - Map is fully compatible.
The mod works out of the box with this one. You get the maps and the FallUI functions.
Cartographers Map Markers is fully compatible.
Most unmarked locations that I marked, came from this mod, so those locations will work seamlessly.
That said, this mod adds so many map markers, that it will create a clusterfuck, both with vanilla map markers and this mod's triangles.
It's in my opinion complete overkill. It marks literally everything, including stuff that you should just stumble upon.
More Map Markers is fully compatible.
This is a very lite version of Carto.
It will put map markers at all the merchants I marked. It will put map markers at certain other spots I marked.
In combination with this mod, this one will work much better. This is the one I personally use in my load order.
Small Map Markers is fully compatible.
It works completely fine with this mod. The only thing that happens is that the gap between triangle and map marker becomes a bit bigger.
That said, the INI fix that is included in this mod makes the map markers a fraction smaller then they usually are, so it's not really necessary.
For that reason, I personally don't use this mod in my load order anymore.
If you use Carto, this mod is pretty much a must. The decision is up to you.
