How does it work? I am looking at a tricycle in Sanctuary but there is nothing new I can do with it. I also don't understand what the description page means about bobby pin boxes. Is this a modder resource rather than a mod for users?
Currently in 1.0 if you attack a tricycle(or any supported object) it will swap it to a Misc item that uses the same model which will let you add it to your inventory. This is a mod for player use, not a resource.
The Bobby Pin Box in Vanilla Fallout 4 has a script that allows you to assign a Level List to add to the player inventory when pressing E on the object as well as disable the interacted object. For 1.1 I plan to use this since it will allow me to let players loot objects that could explode as well as be more immersive.
Thanks for the explanation. I'm now having fun running around stabbing objects. So far it works great with tires, coat racks, wastebaskets, weed wackers, tricycles, wood boxes and mannequins. It does not work on traffic cones or skeletons; are you planning to add those to the next version?
Of course the long red gas cylinders still explode with this method, as I would expect. XD
I realize now that while resetting traffic cones(which I used to test others at V111 Ext) I set it to create the static instead of the misc, oopsies.
I plan to support a lot of items for the next version the new E function will allow me to support explodable objects like the red gas cylinders (oxygen tanks), sadly I will be sacrificing the satisfying whack of transforming items of 1.0. Skeletons are planned but they won't be kept whole, instead you will get each of the existing skeleton pieces and cloth if it was a clothed skeleton. Similarly cars will have their paint stripped when looted. I had to reduce the workload somewhere, it is a lot of objects so trimming down 20+ cars and 10+ skeletons will help speed things along.

Big Junk Redux at Fallout 4 Nexus - Mods and community (nexusmods.com) It only handles a couple items better but does not support several items such as cars.
Commonwealth Cleanup and Big Junk Remix - Version 4.0 at Fallout 4 Nexus - Mods and community (nexusmods.com) Broader scope of BJR and full of issues. Performance and stability would be the benefit here.
